I did a boo boo in my previous post. I said that I refer to G Campbell Morgans Commentaries. I thought that was the initials that are on the commentaries that I use. But the one that I do use is by C.H.M and he doesn't have his name in the book just the initials. So I googled and found out that is name is C.H.Mackintosh. The books are written in 1861, they are very evangelical. The opening Preface to the commentary reads,
To all who love and relish the simple Gospel of the grace of God.....
What thoughts might anybody have on the Keil & Delitzsch Commentaries, as well as the Jamieson-Fausset-Brown commentaries?

KingJimmy,About the commentaries that you mentioned. Do they ignore the Spiritual, such as gifts? Or do they embrace them as apart of the Christian life?I know the Word of God is more than gifts of the Spirit but I choose the fullness instead of 80% truth. 8-)
I have no idea about the stance of these commentaries other than that they are evangelical. Being that they are older, I assume they are probably cessationist in nature. Other than that, I don't know about these commentaries. That is why I'm asking you folks about them :)
