Just imagine.You get to your car. On your way to run errands, fulfilling your stewardship role in Christ. Then suddenly, you must take a detour. A one hour detour.Or.Your plans fail due to an unintentional call from an old friend and you forget all your plans.Or.The computer isn't working.Calvinist and Arminianism believe in one simple thing. God's sovereignty. God is in control.They both believe in the Word of God, namely, Romans 8:28; And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose.As far as I know, every Christian believes this. If not. Then who put Christ on the cross? John 19:11 ( Jesus answered, "You would have no power over me if it were not given to you from above. Therefore the one who handed me over to you is guilty of a greater sin." )Or another Scriptural example. Do you think the Apostle Paul 'planned' to go to prison? Or before King Agrippa? I doubt it.I say this to you because today I got a holy thump on my head. GOD IS IN CONTROL.Instead of YOU controlling your life, how about you submit your rebellious will to your eternal and all-powerful and ALL GOOD Father in heaven for HE knows what you need, far better than you could ever decide.Sometimes, WE think we need to pay our bills. (and of course we do.) but sometimes God will re-direct our drive. Maybe to pray for a lost neighborhood.Sometimes, WE think we want to go buy some books, when instead He wants to led someone to Himself through you.Sometimes, just sometimes. Christ wants us to stop what WE are doing and just worship Him for His holy goodness.Is God speaking to you? Is God re-directing your life? Don't let it 'stress' you. Take and Receive this as a Holy gift from your Father in heaven because He loves you and cares for you. He gave you His child, for your life. I've never seen or heard of that kind of love in any religion or any human. Our God is in control and full of love.Blessings.
