Saints,This audio reading of the book "Aggressive Christianity" written by Catherine Booth is offered freely in mp3 format. And has been provided by: www.revivalclassics.com"This book is one of the most powerful pleas for true biblical Christianity to be revived in our day. It carefully shows forth the spurious and propels the reader into the spirit of the New Testament and the Apostles. Oh if God would grip some with its message and if they applied it we would see the Acts of the Apostles over again! May it be so!" - Greg GordonAggressive Christianity - Part 1https://www.sermonindex.net/modules/mydownloads/visit.php?lid=15205Aggressive Christianity - Part 2https://www.sermonindex.net/modules/mydownloads/visit.php?lid=15206Aggressive Christianity - Part 3https://www.sermonindex.net/modules/mydownloads/visit.php?lid=15207Aggressive Christianity - Part 4https://www.sermonindex.net/modules/mydownloads/visit.php?lid=15208Aggressive Christianity - Part 5https://www.sermonindex.net/modules/mydownloads/visit.php?lid=15209Aggressive Christianity - Part 6https://www.sermonindex.net/modules/mydownloads/visit.php?lid=15210Aggressive Christianity - Part 7https://www.sermonindex.net/modules/mydownloads/visit.php?lid=15211Aggressive Christianity - Part 8https://www.sermonindex.net/modules/mydownloads/visit.php?lid=15212Aggressive Christianity - Part 9https://www.sermonindex.net/modules/mydownloads/visit.php?lid=15213Aggressive Christianity - Part 10https://www.sermonindex.net/modules/mydownloads/visit.php?lid=15214

can't wait to hear this
This book will shock the Christian back into reality! May God use it to stir many afresh to full service for the Master.
Was I mistaken in understanding Booth's belief to be that if a person does not receive the pentecostal bpatism of the Spirit, that person will not be saved?I only listened to it once but that seemed to be the tenor of it. Moreover, if that baptism "departs" I wonder would she expect salvation had departed?A little confused/troubled,
Greg,Thanks for this. I listened to part 1 this morning, and was very blessed.Stephen

Michael,I believe they believed in a baptism of the Holy Spirit, but it was not with the evidence of speaking with other tongues, like the Pentecostals believe. The Booths and the Salvation Army were before the 20th Century Pentecostal Revival. They probably get their idea of the baptism from Charles Finney, who stressed the need of this baptism in minister and believer alike.
Just wanted to say this is a provoking book! very worth the listen
