"Now I know without a doubt that the Lord sent his angel and rescued me... - Acts 12:11"Peter is at the door!". "You're out of your mind," they told her. When she kept insisting that it was so, they said, "It must be his angel." - Acts 12:14b:15an angel of the Lord struck him down and he was eaten by worms and died. - Acts 12: 23Its intresting to note that God uses angels to accomplish his will and our prayers. The whole book of acts has angels appearing and doing things, is it not the same today? do you have faith to believe that the supernatural working of God and his created angels is happening today? or are we so earth-bound and carnal that we cannot imagine angels working on our behalf everyday?

"This is what the LORD says: See, I am setting before you the way of life and the way of death." - Jeremiah 21:8This is a simple but true statement that God himself has given us the choice of life and death. What will you choose? obviously life who wouldn't want life? but sadly we choose what satisfies us now and what feels good and what seems good to us. We have to look to the Word of God to see what God did for us, he sent his son Jesus down to earth as a sacrifice for our sins and the sins of the entire world. "That if you confess with your mouth. 'Jesus is Lord' and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved. As the Scripture says, 'Anyone who trusts in him will never be put to shame' - Romans 10:9-11. This is the WAY of life. Choose it today!
Something else interesting in our reading for the day notice what happens when the church fervently prays. When he had seized him, he put him in prison, delivering him to four squads of soldiers to guard him, intending after the Passover to bring him out before the people. So Peter was kept in the prison, but prayer for him was being made fervently by the church to God". Acts 12:4-5What happened after this intense prayer? The angel of the Lord appeared and delivered Peter out of the prison. I ask you, what is your prison? It doesnt matter how big or how small our Lord Jesus hears it all! Its time to pray the creator of the universe desires to hear from us!In Jesus,MBear
