Oh Chris my heart has longed for years for a outpouring. I have seen by studying revivals, I like to call myself a revivalist, that there is a cost to be paid. The Azusa, Lewis and every revival took a group of people who were willing to interrupt life as usual to wait on God. Now, I know some will say when I mention this that it is totally up to God to move sovereignly for revival to come. However it must be that God births in the hearts of folks like Bartleman and the two elderly sisters in the Lewis revival the desire to see it happen. Well I have desired it for years and several others have as well. However the doors have not opened up for us to really set aside the time necessary for entering into His presence. We are praying for the pieces to all be brought into place to allow it to happen. I want to experience the fire of God's presence. I know I will one day when I go to be with Him. But I want to see people swept into the Kingdom because the very atmosphere is charged with Him. Thanks for sharing this Azusa street message.
