| Bible Software | | I have a few different versions of bible software, but none with the amplified bible. Can anyone recommend a product, money not an issue, where it includes the amplified? GOD Bless & Thanks John _________________ John

| Re: Bible Software | | I love E-Sword. It allows you to view many different translations, many commentaries, selected works all for free. You can also buy the Amplified for $20.
It is very easy to use and a very powerful tool. |

| Re: | | I have heard of esword but never tried it. I admit, I kind of lumped it in with the rest of the free software out there, thinking it might not be anything worthwhile, but now I will give it a try. Thanks! _________________ John

| Re: | | I just downloaded it. When I open the bible , it shows numbers next to each word, I guess they are reference numbers. How do I turn them off? _________________ John

| Re: | | You cannot turn that off. That is the King James Version (w/ Strong's). What you can do is go to the E-Sword website and download the King James Version without Strong's numbers or any other translation. |

| Re: | | Those are Strongs numbers. You can't turn them off. If you want a text that does not have those numbers, you will have to download it from the site. You really won't get the full effect of the software until you download several "add-ons."
