How to keep track of a thread?

Hi, is there a way to "follow" or "bookmark" a particular thread, so you are notified if a new post appears on it? The pink "markers" seem to show all new posts in a section, whether I want to follow the particular thread or not.

Sometimes I forget the name of an interesting thread I've been following, and finding it again can take a while because of several new topics coming in.

Thanks

Jeannette

If you start a thread you can select a check box to have emails sent to you as there are posts on that thread you "began." Other then that I would view the forums from this view:
https://www.sermonindex.net/modules/newbb/

The top 10 recent forum posts on the front page of the website is there to show some of the recent posts but I recommend for those that use the forums much to go dig into the forum on that level to keep track of the threads.

Also Jeanette,

If you do a search on your own user name you can find threads you posted on before. I had the same problem finding things I wanted to check back on until I discovered that.

I don't see the search function here. Where do you find this?

Brother Greg, maybe you should consider putting this search form somewhere in the top of the main forum page or more visible place, instead at the bottom as it now.
I found this function very useful for searching the forums, especially search by user name.

 Re:

the search is on the home page for SI. Put you own name in there and your responses will come up.
