WILL NOT BE VISITED WITH EVIL

“You will not Be Visited with Evil”

“The fear of the Lord leads to life and he who has
It, will abide in satisfaction, he will not be visited
With evil “ (Proverbs 19:23).

Few weeks ago, the Lord put this scripture in my heart and as a daily prayer to Him. I’ve started meditating in it. This is the place where I want to get with my relationship with God, and my brother, Lord and Savior Y’eshua (Jesus) Christ.
Not because I don’t want to be visited by evil as truth as it might be, but because simply and true, He is worthy of our praises and love towards Him, God alone is Love and when His fear is in our hearts, we can walk in Integrity.

Doing the things that we have to do to obey Him, and honor Him. When we fear God we have a respect of His word, and principles. And as we walk in obedience therefore God will bless us spiritually and in every way possible, evil will not have chances in us, because we are cover by God, His fear is all over us.
There are quite a few scriptures that the Lord blessed me with to show me, what He would do when the fear of Him (Love) is in us.

(Psalm 91) is a very good example of what God does when we fear Him
It says: “ he who dwells in the secret place of the most high will abide under
The shadow of the Almighty” if we stay in the fear of God (His love) we will be cover by Him. It says again: surely he shall deliver you from the snare of the fowler and from the perilous pestilence, this is a good example of what God does
When we fear Him, and I believe that the fear of God, the word Fear is joined with love toward Him. Example (Psalm 91:14)

“Because he has set his love upon me, I will deliver him; I will set him on high because he has known my name. He shall call upon me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him, I will honor him, and show him my salvation”
Here we see that the love and fear of God go alone together, because we fear God, because we love Him enough not to do things that hurt His heart. That’s what fear of God is about; and in His mercy He will protect us, we don’t need to fear evil, trials, or whatever fear we have that is not the fear of God, because fear outside God is timid toward things around us, not His love, God says Fear not, for I’m with you. The word fear stands for false evident, appearing real. So if the enemy is bringing fear into your life (is not the fear of God), relax that’s false evident, appearing real; they will vanish like the dust, because God’s love is in you, hat’s why it says that the perfect love cast out fear.

Another example of what God does for those who fear Him is (Psalm 118:4-6)
“Let those who fear the Lord now say, His mercies endures forever I called on the Lord on distress; the Lord answered me and set me in a broad place. The Lord is on my side; I will not fear, what can man do unto me?” You see he who Fear God will not be visited by evil, it’s God’s promise to us, He IS FAITHFUL and TRUTH. (Psalm 128:1-2) also talks about what happen when we fear God
It says “ Blessed is everyone who fears the Lord who walks in HIS ways, when you eat the labor of your hands, you shall be happy and it shall be well with you” As I mentioned before the fear of God is love towards Him, desires Him and walk in His ways (steps). One living example, not to quote more is the story in the book of Daniel chapter 3, about the three Hebrew boys, who decided not to bow down to false gods, and took stand to walk integrity before God, they had the fear of God in their hearts, even though they were surrounded by evil; evil could not touched them. It says “that they were thrown bound into the fire, heated 7 times more than usual, this time they were visited not by evil (as evil was around them) but by the Lord (Jesus) Himself.

It quotes in(Daniel 3:24-25) King nebuchadnezzar was astonished, and he arose in haste and spoke “ did we not cast three men bound into the midst of the fire?” “true o king” “ look he answered “ I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire, and they’re not hurt, and the form of the forth is like the Son of God” !Alleluya! J Y’eshua (Jesus) will never let us go. Jesus was in their midst, because those three Hebrew guys decided to walk in integrity, because the fear of God was in their hearts (His Love), evil could not touched them. Now there will be times when evil will be allowed to visit us, because God has a better plan for our lives than ours, and if we don’t go through the test, then we cannot be prepared for whatever He has for us, a ministry, new promotion, mission, call, etc, etc. One living example was JOB; evil was allowed to visit him, because God was preparing JOB for a blessing greater than the previous one.

(Isaiah 52:12) says “ for the Lord will go before you and the God of Israel will be your real guard” (Isaiah 54:4) do not fear (evil) for you will not be ashamed neither be disgraced, for you will not be put to shame; for you will forget the shame of your youth. The Lord also says in 54:10 “ for the mountains shall depart and the hills be removed, but my kindness shall not depart from you, nor shall my covenant of peace be removed” says the Lord who has mercy on you.
There are dozens or more of God promises to protect us from evil if we fear Him (love and walk in His ways) God will protect you my brother and sister, just trust HIM, make His fear a daily prayer and desire in your life, I’m still working on it, but I trust God to help me to achieve that level in my life, because my relationship with Him is what matter the most. Finally I will share this last verse with you, and I will finish with this.

(Isaiah 54:17) says: “ no weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue which rise against you in Judgement, you shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord and their righteousness is from me, says the Lord. These are and are the promises for those who fear (Love) GOD, May the Lord bless you all. (Read Psalm 121) J

Re: WILL NOT BE VISITED WITH EVIL

Hi Dalcy,

A warm welcome to you (again :-) )

Quote:
“Because he has set his love upon me, I will deliver him; I will set him on high because he has known my name. He shall call upon me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him, I will honor him, and show him my salvation”

Psalm 91:14-16

Interesting, these verse's were given to me by the Lord on 4/15/03 during a 'prayer labyrinth' (which I had some reservations about) at my church.

In my study notes it says:

"The word for 'love' means a 'deep longing' for God or a 'clinging' to God."

There is only You, Oh Lord.

Hi Dalcy,

As I mentioned, I had some reservation's at the time and though I found it edifying there is a lot of differing points of view about it. To be completely honest my opinion right now would be
"I don't know". Neutral. Fence sitter.

Here is a few links about the particular 'version' that our church used:

This is the actual 'CD' they used:

 Re:

This reminds me of a book I recently read by Dr. David Jeremiah about the encroaching of the New Age movement into modern Christianity. The whole thing to me reeks of the world pushing itself onto Christians and Christianity. I personally don't need a labyrinth, maze, or what not to come to a deep and meaningful prayer life. I don't feel peace in my heart over this movement. My two cents.
edit: After reading more of the links provided, I feel even more firm in my belief. I don't need a path, or any external items to be forgiven, cleansed, or to commune with my God. I see that this will become a potential replacement for daily, personal prayer lives...
