Let Us Continue To Cry To God To “Revive Us Again!” -moore

Let Us Continue To Cry To God To “Revive Us Again!”
by W. C. Moore

The Spirit of God makes intercession through us “with groanings which cannot be uttered” (Rom. 8:26). George D. Watson says: “All the great epochs of divine providence and manifestation in the world have been preceded by great prayer…

“All down the ages, whenever God has come forth from His hiding place to make bare His arm in judgment, or manifest His glory and reveal His Presence, the Holy Spirit has preceded such events by moving on God’s elect great burdens of prayer.”

God forbid that we be satisfied with anything short of His best! Ishmael was Abraham’s son – but certainly not God’s best thought for Abraham. Thank God for all that He is doing throughout the world today, but surely He is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or thing (Eph. 3:20), and so we seek Him for the fullness of “the former rain, and the latter rain” (Joel 2:23) – poured out in these days – “a plentiful rain” whereby the Lord will confirm His inheritance when it is weary (Psalm 68:9).

Earmarks Of A True Revival

The Spirit of God is the Holy Spirit. Down through the years there have been outstanding characteristics of true, God-sent revival: conviction on sin; holiness of life; humility; exaltation of the Lord; zeal for the salvation of the lost; power in prayer; a continuous spirit of Holy Ghost prayer; love – divine love, shed abroad in the heart by the Holy Ghost (Rom. 5:5), love that suffers long and is kind, that thinketh no evil, vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up—love that never faileth.

“Men Ought Always To Pray, And Not To Faint”
Luke 18:1

Keep on praying, brother, sister! Obey that deep urge of the Holy Spirit in your heart—that longing for a mighty heart-searching, sin-convicting, Holy Ghost Revival! God is faithful. He has promised to answer the prayer of faith. “According to your faith be it unto you” (Matt. 9:29). “The Scripture cannot be broken” (John 10:35).

Oh, for the Spirit of the Lord to breathe upon us! Oh, for the time to come when “the lofty looks of man shall be humbled, and the haughtiness of men shall be bowed down, and the Lord alone shall be exalted” (Isa. 2:11).

Let us wholeheartedly believe what God has said, and let us act accordingly:

“If My people which are called by My name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land” (2 Chron. 7:14).

Re: Let Us Continue To Cry To God To “Revive Us Again!” -moore

WOW! Somethings happening this year! I went with a Pastor friend of mine to a noon prayer meeting off of Fulton St. New York City today, as soon as we sat down powerful worship broke out, and each time my friend got up to speak the worship and strong crying out of praise and hunger began again, and he had to sit down. I said dose this happen? He said Not like this. Is this going to be the year of Revival? The Lord is saying there is about to be a brake though. Is anyone seeing it?
I think we are getting ready to see Our God move, without the hand of flesh in it.

The main word today was, it's all about the worship! Also about our death to self, the flesh has a death sentence on it, so we can live this coming Revival in the Spirit. The flesh needs to stop all it planing in fixing and rest. It has to be ALL about Him, His Glory.

We can not see His Glory come in our flesh, there is ONLY One with clean hands and a pure heart, Him, the Christ. If we die His power will flow though us in healing to the lost and broken.

Pick it up! THE CROSS, It has to die, this Flesh!

Come Lord Jesus in all your Glory, and we will fall at your feet as dead.

 Re:

Hi everyone.

Revivalnow,

"WOW! Somethings happening this year!"

"Is this going to be the year of Revival?"

"I think we are getting ready to see Our God move, without the hand of flesh in it."

This is encouraging brother. I know I don't want to be left out of it when it comes!

"The main word today was, it's all about the worship!"

Have been feeling a sense of this as of late also and a returning to it...and this thought of...

"Come Lord Jesus in all your Glory, and we will fall at your feet as dead"

"Also about our death to self, the flesh has a death sentence on it, so we can live this coming Revival in the Spirit."

This has defeinitely been in view for me of late also and I think others here too.

Something that stood out to me in devotions this week was where Joshua says

When ye see the ark of the covenant of the Lord your God, and the priests the Levites bearing it, then ye shall remove from your place, and go after it.

and also...

Sanctify yourselves: for to morrow the Lord will do wonders among you.

Thinking of our whole purpose in being here...
