 Are you SALT?

Hi
I did a small study of Salt that the Lord led me into and trust it will speak to you.
God Bless
JJ

You are Salt. SALT is powerful, it is a preserver, it never loses its taste. ! More wars have been fought over salt than gold!

God likes Salt! Salt is essential to life on Earth.

Lev 2:13 Season every presentation of your Grain-Offering with salt. Don't leave the salt of the covenant with your God out of your Grain-Offerings. Present all your offerings with salt.
Salt is a cleanser used by the Prophet Elisha:
2Ki 2:20 He said, "Bring me a brand-new bowl and put some salt in it." They brought it to him.
2Ki 2:21 He then went to the spring, sprinkled the salt into it, and proclaimed, "God’s word: I've healed this water. It will no longer kill you or poison your land."
Jesus said in:
Psa 101:6 But I have my eye on salt-of-the-earth people-- they're the ones I want working with me; Men and women on the straight and narrow-- these are the ones I want at my side.
Jesus said in:
Mat 5:13 "Let me tell you why you are here. You're here to be salt-seasoning that brings out the God-flavors of this earth. If you lose your saltiness, how will people taste godliness? You've lost your usefulness and will end up in the garbage.

Salt is a chemical compound, one of which is a deadly poison! Salt crystals are foursquare like the city of God - New Jerusalem our city. Wet Salt is a conductor of electricity and so are we to be conductors.
We are all salt in Jesus. Mat 5:13 *Ye* are the salt of the earth;
Salt is made from a long period in the Son evaporating out of the water of mankind leaving dried muck and salt. It is broken up and hauled through a desert place to the place of sale. We were bought by the merchant Jesus, crushed, cleaned and suitable for use in His salt cellar. We are a precious substance on earth and heaven.
The salt crystals are comfortable in the salt cellar after all the upheaval, crushing and cleaning- whew, with other salt friends yet. But then it is taken up and shaken violently so that salt grains are separated [getting lonely?] And strewn on God’s food – the world.
One of the interesting things about salt is that when it is used it loses itself- who wants to lose them selves? It can be a painful process conforming to our Master.
Salt causes pleasure in food or pain in a wound– it enhances or accentuates whatever it comes in contact with. Don’t be surprised by the reactions of the world toward you by just being who you are in Jesus!
Salt is white- the color of judgment. Salt is also non flammable.

Luk 14:34 "Salt is excellent. But if the salt goes flat, it's useless, good for nothing. "Are you listening to this? Really listening?"

If we love the world more than the Lord we are in danger of losing our saltiness.
Gen 19:26 But Lot's wife looked back and turned into a pillar of salt.

1Jo 4:13 Hereby we know that we abide in him and he in us, that he has given to us of his Spirit. His salt! So don’t feel shook up, scattered and lost!

 Re: Are you SALT?

Two other things about salt...

...the only way to get rid of it's saltiness is to water it down, like what is happening to the Gospel now-a-days,

...and it makes you thirsty. We are the salt of the earth, are we making people thirsty for Jesus?
