Just wanted to say it, I don't know if anyone has said it yet, or wants to, but we are going to hear it a lot in the coming days.Well, once it's out of the way, what plans have been made for the New Year? What hope is there of the individual seeing to their own personal holiness and seperation from the world and personal revival? What physical and spiritual steps do we plan to take in order to bring this about?More prayer, more of the word, more fasting, or what?If we don't intend to differ from this past year, why should the coming year generate any excitment or expectation for us?Now for a real negative, sorry.Since the ememy prowls around as a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour, are we prepared with the armour of God to fight the attacks that will come our way?We know that we do not wrestle, fight, with flesh and blood, and that the weapons of our warefare are not carnal, so we need to be spiritually equipped for what is to be.We want revival, why not the coming year? I know, why not now? Would to God.Let us bring glory to God, now, and in the coming year, by being obedient and in seeking after Him, until our eyes are dry, and can cry no moreGod bless.
In an effort to be more sensitive and non-offensive, let me just say... Happy RamaHanuKwanzMas everybody!Krispy
You want to be non-offensive, and you forgot Christmas in your greeting!Just kidding!Just looking beyond the glitter and tinsel of Christmas and into the hope of the New Year, which can start today, if we so wish.God bless.
Yea, there is so much flap over Christmas... people think the word is offensive... people beating up other customers over a PlayStation 3... people protesting WalMart... people stealing Christmas trees off of lots... ... and there... in the still of the night... a baby cried after getting His first breath of air in to His lungs... Shepherds and wise men came and bowed quietly before the manger... I believe it was so quiet there that if it really were snowing (which it wasnt) you would be able to hear the snow flakes land on the ground...If there is one thing man does perfectly, it's our ability to lose focus.Krispy
