KJV I Timothy 6:1010For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.NKJV I Timothy 6:1010 For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil, for which some have strayed from the faith in their greediness, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.Notice the difference between these two scriptures. KJV says the root of all and NKJV says the root of all (kinds) being in italics. What I want to know is the love of money the root of all or kinds.Their is a error here. One of these Bibles is wrong. KJV TEXETUS RECEPTUS:ριζα γαρ παντων των κακων εστιν η φιλαργυρια ης τινες ορεγομενοι απεπλανηθησαν απο της πιστεως και εαυτους περιεπειραν οδυναις πολλαιςMODERN BIBLES WESTCOT AND HORTριζα γαρ παντων των κακων εστιν η φιλαργυρια ης τινες ορεγομενοι απεπλανηθησαν απο της πιστεως και εαυτους περιεπειραν οδυναις πολλαιςthe word in greek is pas paV,a {pas}1) individually 1a) each, every, any, all, the whole, everyone, all things, everything 2) collectively 2a) some of all types So I am having some confusion on if the translators of the KJV translated that wrong. If it should have been all kinds of evil. So I would love you input on this subject. Thankyou brothers and sisters God Bless yea.
