What ever happened to the 'revival' in North Carolina?

.... it's getting cold. The attendance would not have maintained once the temps dropped. There was snow flying around here yesterday.

I dont think that the intention was to keep it going for an extended period of time. I dont know for sure, but I would suppose Rev Sexton believed that God was finished with that particular part of the revival. Now it's time for those folks to take what God gave them and hit the byways with it.

Jesus' earthly ministry came to an end after a relatively short period of time, and then his disciples went into all the world.
