| Re: | | I'm not going to be able to answer any mails for a while but all is well and the folks very attentive and receptive. We have about 80-90 gathering for the evening meetings with choruses in 3 or 4 languages and the preaching translated into 2. Many are illiterate so it all has to be kept simple. I spent about 15 minutes last night telling a made up story about a potato who wanted to become a chili; the folk here eat chilies raw! He tried so hard, went to all the chili meetings, memorised chili verses, tried to behave like a chili, painted himself red and wore green leaves but was still a chili... you will get the point. Nicodemus, you must....
There is considerable financial persecution here with believers losing their jobs, being denied promotions and training, and even sponsorship for their children's schooling. One of my interpreters has just been released from a 7 month sentence for showing the Jesus Film.
If God puts these people on your hearts, pleas pray; they are in the cauldron.
My health is keeping good, though some altitude effects like breathlessness and nose bleeds; we are at 8000 feet. All is well.. As Wesley put it..."tis worth living for this, to administer bliss, and salvation, in Jesus's name.
Thank you for your prayers. _________________ Ron Bailey

| Re: | | Father, I pray for the Buddhists to believe that there is only one path to You through Jesus Christ, Your Son. As they look for truth, open their spiritual eyes and enlighten their hearts so that they may know You and Your power as the Truth. Lord, I praise You that You do not slumber as You watch over Ron Bailey. Grant him good health as You protect him from physical danger. Shield him with Your armor. Help him to communicate Your love and salvation to these people. Father, I pray for my brothers and sisters in Christ who are persecuted, they who are blessed who are "persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven." They who are blessed "when men shall revile and persecute them and say all manner of evil against them falsely," for Your sake. May they "rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is their reward in heaven." May You be glorified through them, Lord God. Amen.

| Re: | | The 'festival' went well and folks have left for different regions. We had a precious time and the word of God was clearly in our midst. These folks are just so appreciative and generous in their love. I have another meeting tomorrow and some important conversations with key persons over the next few days; again I value your prayer.
One item. Almost all the saints here are suffering from financial persecution; job losses, demotions, refusal to grant training, postings to far flung areas which are designed to break up groups. The saints' powers to earn and decreasing constantly while the cost of living rises. Have been praying Deut 8:18 for them; please join me if you have liberty. _________________ Ron Bailey

| dear brother Ron | | Thank and praise God! I have had you on and in my heart for days.....you have planted imperishable Seed that will grow. In many ways I am envious (in a good way) of your journey. my other brother who has been their is going back, and will water these Seeds.
I feel led to say, oh the depth and breadth and the mystery of the Love of Christ!!!
Please know, that whatever petty minute disagreements we have, that I love you, unseen with a passionate love born in the Holy Spirit, and will continue to pray for your ministry and the "chili's".
God be praised.
