Hi inuk,

No, it is not by drinking a bottle of water that you receive the Holy Spirit.

Here are the Bible verses that you quoted (King James Bible):

Ephesians 1:13
In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,

2 Corinthians 1:22
Who hath also sealed us, and given the earnest of the Spirit in our hearts.

John 6:27
Labour not for the meat which perisheth, but for that meat which endureth unto everlasting life, which the Son of man shall give unto you: for him hath God the Father sealed.

1 Corinthians 3:16
Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?

Can you tell me more so I can understand exactly what you are asking?

 Re:

First the rock must be struck. Exodus 17:1-7
From then on out all you have to do is speak to the rock. Numbers 20:1-13

Who is the rock? 1 Corinthians 10:4
What is the water? John 7:37-39

If Jesus has already been struck on the cross for you, just ask Him for the spirit. John 4:10

Re: How do we recieve the holy spirit?

I’ve notice that in Acts 19:5-6 that they received The Holy Spirit after being baptized by water, while in Acts 10:47 they were baptized after receiving the Holy Spirit. One thing is for sure, only those who believe in God’s Son (The biblical Jesus Christ) receive God’s Spirit.

Maybe the reason I’m sharing this is that some have been known to say that you have to be baptized by water before you can receive the Holy Spirit. Obviously it wasn’t the case in Acts 10:47 since they had received the Holy Spirit before being baptized by water.

Luke 11:9-13 (New King James Version)
“So I say to you, ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened. If a son asks for bread from any father among you, will he give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, will he give him a serpent instead of a fish? Or if he asks for an egg, will he offer him a scorpion? If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him!”

1 Corinthians 3:16 (New King James Version)
Do you not know that you are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?

So those who ask receive. Indeed, some don’t know what their asking for but seeing that God is good He knows how to give good gifts to His children.

How do we recieve the holy spirit? Simply Ask the Father for the Holy Spirit.

 Re:

Receive the regenerating work and indwelling of the Spirit by being born again.

Recieve the enduement of the Spirit in power for the works of service by fasting and praying until God floods your being with a deluge and inrush of overwhelming power - you'll know when you get it, there's no mistaking it. It took John Lake 9 months of fasting and praying and seeking until his baptism. Others it took less, others more...

Here's a great article on the subject: http://www.revivalarmy.com/Revivalist.htm
