 Re:

Your absolutely right! Let me clarify.

Pornography is a HUGGGGGEEE problem amongst many people who attend worship services and sit under the teachings of Christ...for years and years.

There is not one hypocrite in the church." - Ray Comfort

Praise The Lord... :-D
God continually bless you with heavenly wisdom Sir...Please continue to keep this site pure as much as possible. Some might not like the fact that you deleted the newsletter content; however, you stated your reason for doing so, and I respect that reson and thought it was wise. I am far from perfect, but God continues to grant me grace to hate sin and wickedness that spring up out of my own heart. Please pray that the Lord will grant me the grace to be honest about all my sins that He points out to me, and the continual grace to turn from all of them, to continually walk in newness of life... Sin spreads like a vile poison infecting those in its path either directly or indirectly, but the battle is the Lord's and His saints are His soldiers. May the Lord continually bless you with Godly discernment.
"And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them. For it is a shame even to speak of those things which are done of them in secret"(Eph 5:11-12, kjv)
May the salt not lose its saltiness!!!
The Lord bless you and your household...

 Re:

I knew the content of the newsletter was questionable when I posted it, and I fully respect Greg's decision to not want it included on this website.

Even without reading the newsletter, the same point is clear. The very fact that a so called ministry published something that has been found questionable for a Christian audience is repulsive. I posted in response to Paul Washer's exposition of the modern church. You can see this as a clear example, even without reading the discusting references in the newsletter.

There is some sympathy I have for dorcas' point as well. I respect the regulars on this site so much and put incredible value on the opinions and counsel I recieve here. I do have real questions concerning issues such as sex, contraceptives, etc., that I would love to hear commented on by Godly men and women here. Talking about these things can lead to repentance and holiness as well.

I do agree, however, with Greg's decision to close the last thread on sex, seeing how it became overly explicit. Regardless of what I think, I do have so much respect for you, Greg, and acknowledge the authority and that you have as a shepherd over this site. You do an amazing job. Keep it up.

Just as a note:

I have tried their accountability software and found that under certian ISP's it had major problems. If you are struggling with this sort of problem then I really recomend a good content filter. I have a free one on my computer and my wife has the password!

btw, that comment made about the OA Preacher who said that 'God hates the sin but loves the sinner' is something made up by Christians so that they don't offend homosexuals was said by Ray Comfort. You should have seen the hecklers face when he said it!

some things just do not need to be posted here

Fair comment.

And it is true that God made sure there is enough in the Bible, for anyone who really wants His answers, to find and appropriate them.

JennRich writes:
Meaning, the TRUE church, not "professing Christians". . . because God disciplines His own when they're in rebellion. When they stray off the narrow path, they are too grieved (in their spirit) to continue on it for a lengthy period of time. Judas Iscariot can be said to have been a hypocrite, but he never really belonged to Jesus in the first place. Jesus rebuked his own -- such as Peter -- but never Judas. "The Lord disciplines those he loves."

I'd be interested to see how you support what I've extracted from your post, with scripture.

JennRich writes:
Hebrews 12:6 (that's the verse I quoted above). . . it goes on to say ". . .and chastises every son whom he receives." Scripture never gives us one instance where Jesus disciplined Judas.

Hi Jenn,

So, apart from Peter, where in scripture do you see Jesus 'disciplin'ing the other disciples?
