Mystery of Godliness - Mystery of Iniquity

The Mystery of Godliness and the mystery of iniquity

1Timothy 3:16 And without controversy great is the Mystery of Godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.

The Mystery of Godliness is explained in short as God appeared in human flesh and remains in the flesh. To deny this is the spirit of anti-Christ.

Mystery of Godliness is seen also in Romans 8:3-4 for what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh
4: That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

and

Philippians 2:5-9 Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:
:6 who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:
:7 But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:
:8 And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.
:9 Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:

Mystery of Iniquity

Paul does not define the Mystery of Iniquity in 2Thes. 2:7, though it could be 3 to 4 verses above the mention of it...
2Thes. 2:4 Who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sits in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.
In other words:
Man, acting as god and thinking he is a god, which is from “The Lie” from the beginning.

This Mystery of Iniquity should also conclude to the denial that Christ came in the flesh which is indeed the denial Mystery of Godliness.

The Mystery of Godliness opposes the Mystery of Iniquity. Scripture would confirm this precise definition.

The acceptance of the Mystery of Godliness will bring you to Eternal life. The denial of these, which is Mystery of Iniquity, will lead you to hell.

Re: Mystery of Godliness - Mystery of Iniquity

logic,

This is great.
A good indicator of a false "jesus" would be one who presents oneself contrary to the real Christ according to the following, wouldn't it?

Philippians 2:5-9 Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:
:6 who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:
:7 But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:

Or one who behaves as the following:

2Thes. 2:4 Who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sits in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.

Very good! Let us abide by this verse and be grounded with HIS WORD:

Colossians 2:2
That their(our) hearts might be comforted, being knit together in love, and unto all riches of the full assurance of understanding, to the acknowledgement of the mystery of God, and of the Father, and of Christ.

thanks, In Christ
