 Re: ummmm

How about sort of?

Give this a gander;

PTywama3, not sure what you are actually asking here...

Linguistically there is truth there of course. But, isn't everything based on the meaning poured into the words we choose to use? And in this case specifically?

To be fair, here is more on the man and what he believes.

Digging around there and reading his thoughts, many which are noble if not more than a bit grandiose, this humanism and inter-faith 'we are all serving the same god approach' has a long history of just being a bandage on the putrefying sore of the human heart. It's not going to work.

What I can gather is that it is an all things to all men that I may not offend any and save none. The twisting of Paul's intent. Which is really the point of interchanging at will substitute names for god, depending on who one is talking to. If he was addressing Arabic Christians it would be perfectly logical perhaps if he was speaking Arabic, not English. But it is really all besides the point, however you want to boil this down it still comes out as denying Jesus, His words, His life and His mandate.

Joh 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

Edit: Didn't see your second reply before posting this...
