Brenda: Again, does scripture itself connect Babel with New Testament tongues? The fact that early Christians believed something does not make it so. They were just as flawed as we are and just as prone to opinion as we are. The question is, does scripture teach that the two are related of that one is a type of the current antetype?I am confused about your point that Luke did not write about praying in tongues but Paul did. Have I missed something? I thought the issue we were dealing with there was whether praying in tongues, devotionally, was scriptural. In that case, does it matter whether Luke or Paul discussed it?

Kervin: I am not trying in any way to offend you. I just wondered how an online church would work. If that is the only way you have to fellowship, then it is awesome that technology allows this to happen. Imagine if you had absolutely no fellowship. I just don't think it meets the requirements, at least Biblically, for an actual church. I guess that was the point of my question.
Fully understood. While to be ever inferior compared to a traditional kind, it proves to be far better than nothing indeed.
