It is a chilling TZ episode.

Jesus' words were fulfilled in 70 AD? So the story and the covenant promises end in 70 AD? God was never able to bring them into a lasting inheritance in the land and had no choice or sovereign power but to leave them exiled and dispersed in the nations contrary to His promises?

When do you believe they were fulfilled? If you don’t think Gods judgment was on Jerusalem in 70 ad you need to read your Josephus.
Brethren,Let's remember the aim of the SermonIndex forums is not just to debate one's right view but to grow in grace and in godliness into the likeness of Jesus christ. It matter very much "how" we interact with others here and how we look to serve, love and edify and uplift each other.

As a side note, I also want to mention that Rod Serling grew up in an era when prayer and Bible reading were a normal part of secular school classes in the western world. There was a much greater knowledge of 'Bible basics' amongst the general populace in Serling's youth---much more than now.If you want to be really shocked watch the Emmy winning episode of Night Gallery, "The Messiah on Mott Street," from 1971. You just might shed some tears by the time you see a mission's flashing red cross with "Jesus Saves" in it behind the star of that episode in a key moment.
It's okay TMK. I just believe the words of Jesus in this instance end in His second coming which is the time of the resurrection of the dead. Jerusalem certainly beyond doubt was judged in 70 AD but history has come full circle. Israel is a nation again surrounded by hostile powers intent on its destruction. The nation is secular and likely to be punished again. We are looking at the same scenario as 70 AD all over again and the dead haven't been raised at the second coming of the Messiah. I think that is when His words will be fulfilled in their entirety good bro. 70 AD is before us again.
Got it- thx David.
