Ye happy sinners, hear The prisoner of the Lord, And wait till Christ appear According to His word; Rejoice in hope, rejoice with me, We shall from all our sins be free.
The Lord our Righteousness We have long since received, Salvation nearer is Than when we first believed; Rejoice in hope, rejoice with me, We shall from all our sins be free.
Let others hug their chains, For sin and Satan plead, And say fron sin's remains They never can be freed; Rejoice in hope, rejoice with me, We shall from all our sins be free.
In God we put our trust, If we our sins confess, Faithful He is and just, From all unrighteousness To cleanse us all, both you and me - We shall from all our sins be free.
Who Jesus' sufferings share, My fellow-prisoners now, Ye soon the wreath shall wear On your triumphant brow; Rejoice in hope, rejoice with me, We shall from all our sins be free.
The word of God is sure, And never can remove; We shall in heart be pure, And perfected in love; Rejoice in hope, rejoice with me, We shall from all our sins be free.
Then let us gladly bring Our sacrifice of praise; Let us give thanks and sing, And glory in His grace; Rejoice in hope, rejoice with me, We shall from all our sins be free.

Deuteronomy 32:1 - 4 Give ear, O heavens, and I will speak; And hear, O earth, the words of my mouth.
Let my teaching drop as the rain, My speech distill as the dew, As raindrops on the tender herb, And as showers on the grass.
For I proclaim the name of the LORD: Ascribe greatness to our God.
He is the Rock, His work is perfect; For all His ways are justice, A God of truth and without injustice; Righteous and upright is He.
Romans 6 1 What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin that grace may abound?
2 Certainly not! How shall we who died to sin live any longer in it?
14 For sin shall not have dominion over you, for you are not under law but under grace.
15 What then? Shall we sin because we are not under law but under grace? Certainly not!
17 But God be thanked that though you were slaves of sin, yet you obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine to which you were delivered.
18 And having been set free from sin, you became slaves of righteousness.
22 But now having been set free from sin, and having become slaves of God, you have your fruit to holiness, and the end, everlasting life.
23 For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

| Re: Today, I'm praising God for... | | ... two unexpectedly good conversations
Come, let us to the Lord our God With contrite hearts return; Our God is gracious, nor will leave The desolate to mourn.
His voice commands the tempest forth And stills the stormy wave; And though His arm be strong to smite, Tis also strong to save.
Long hath the night of sorrow reigned, The dawn shall bring us light; God shall appear, and we shall rise With gladness in His sight.
Our hearts, if God we seek to know, Shall know Him, and rejoice; His coming like the morn shall be, Like morning songs His voice.
As dew upon the tender herb Diffusing fragrance round, As showrs that usher in the spring, And cheer the thirsty ground.
So shall His presence bless our souls, And shed a joyful light; That hallowed morn shall chase away The sorrows of the night.

Luke 24:1 - 6 Now on the first day of the week, very early in the morning, they, and certain other women with them, came to the tomb bringing the spices which they had prepared. But they found the stone rolled away from the tomb. Then they went in and did not find the body of the Lord Jesus.
And it happened, as they were greatly perplexed about this, that behold, two men stood by them in shining garments. Then, as they were afraid and bowed their faces to the earth, they said to them, "Why do you seek the living among the dead? He is not here, but is risen!
JOhn 20:11 - 17 But Mary stood outside by the tomb weeping, and as she wept she stooped down and looked into the tomb. And she saw two angels in white sitting, one at the head and the other at the feet, where the body of Jesus had lain. Then they said to her, "Woman, why are you weeping?" She said to them, "Because they have taken away my Lord, and I do not know where they have laid Him."
Now when she had said this, she turned around and saw Jesus standing there, and did not know that it was Jesus. Jesus said to her, "Woman, why are you weeping? Whom are you seeking?" She, supposing Him to be the gardener, said to Him, "Sir, if You have carried Him away, tell me where You have laid Him, and I will take Him away." Jesus said to her, "Mary!" She turned and said to Him, "Rabboni!" (which is to say, Teacher).
Jesus said to her, "Do not cling to Me, for I have not yet ascended to My Father; but go to My brethren and say to them, 'I am ascending to My Father and your Father, and to My God and your God.' "
Matthew 28:1 - 10 Now after the Sabbath, as the first day of the week began to dawn, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary came to see the tomb. And behold, there was a great earthquake; for an angel of the Lord descended from heaven, and came and rolled back the stone from the door, and sat on it. His countenance was like lightning, and his clothing as white as snow. And the guards shook for fear of him, and became like dead men. But the angel answered and said to the women, "Do not be afraid, for I know that you seek Jesus who was crucified. He is not here; for He is risen, as He said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay. And go quickly and tell His disciples that He is risen from the dead, and indeed He is going before you into Galilee; there you will see Him. Behold, I have told you."
So they went out quickly from the tomb with fear and great joy, and ran to bring His disciples word. And as they went to tell His disciples, behold, Jesus met them, saying, "Rejoice!" So they came and held Him by the feet and worshiped Him. Then Jesus said to them, "Do not be afraid. Go and tell My brethren to go to Galilee, and there they will see Me."

Thou shalt arise, and mercy yet Thou to mount Sion shalt extend: Her time for favour which was set, Behold, is now come to an end. Thy saints take pleasure in her stones, Her very dust to them is dear. All heathen lands and kingly thrones On earth thy glorious name shall fear. God in his glory shall appear, When Sion he builds and repairs. He shall regard and lend his ear Unto the needys humble prayrs: Th afflicteds prayr he will not scorn. All times this shall be on record: And generations yet unborn Shall praise and magnify the Lord. He from his holy place lookd down, The earth he viewd from heavn on high; To hear the prisners mourning groan, And free them that are doomd to die;
That Sion, and Jeruslem too, His name and praise may well record, When people and the kingdoms do Assemble all to praise the Lord.

Jesus! the Name high over all, In hell or earth or sky; Angels and men before it fall, And devils fear and fly.
Jesus! the Name to sinners dear, The Name to sinners givn; It scatters all their guilty fear, It turns their hell to Heavn.
Jesus! the prisoners fetters breaks, And bruises Satans head; Power into strengthless souls it speaks, And life into the dead.
O that mankind might taste and see The riches of His grace! The arms of love that compass me Would all the world embrace.
O that my Jesus heavenly charms Might every bosom move! Fly, sinners, fly into those arms Of everlasting love.
Thee I shall constantly proclaim, Though earth and hell oppose; Bold to confess Thy glorious Name Before a world of foes.
His only righteousness I show, His saving grace proclaim; Tis all my business here below To cry Behold the Lamb!
Happy, if with my latest breath I may but gasp His Name, Preach Him to all and cry in death, Behold, behold the Lamb!

Mark 5:1 - 15 Then they came to the other side of the sea, to the country of the Gadarenes. And when He had come out of the boat, immediately there met Him out of the tombs a man with an unclean spirit, who had his dwelling among the tombs; and no one could bind him, not even with chains, because he had often been bound with shackles and chains. And the chains had been pulled apart by him, and the shackles broken in pieces; neither could anyone tame him. And always, night and day, he was in the mountains and in the tombs, crying out and cutting himself with stones. When he saw Jesus from afar, he ran and worshiped Him. And he cried out with a loud voice and said, "What have I to do with You, Jesus, Son of the Most High God? I implore You by God that You do not torment me." For He said to him, "Come out of the man, unclean spirit!"
Then He asked him, "What is] your name?" And he answered, saying, "My name is Legion; for we are many." Also he begged Him earnestly that He would not send them out of the country. Now a large herd of swine was feeding there near the mountains. So all the demons begged Him, saying, "Send us to the swine, that we may enter them." And at once Jesus gave them permission.
Then the unclean spirits went out and entered the swine (there were about two thousand); and the herd ran violently down the steep place into the sea, and drowned in the sea. So those who fed the swine fled, and they told it in the city and in the country. And they went out to see what it was that had happened. Then they came to Jesus, and saw the one who had been demon-possessed and had the legion, sitting and clothed and in his right mind. And they were afraid.

| Re: Today, I'm praising God for ... | | ... giving me more than enough, and continuing to lead my way
O brother man, fold to thy heart thy brother; Where pity dwells, the peace of God is there; To worship rightly is to love each other, Each smile a hymn, each kindly deed a prayer.
For he whom Jesus loved has truly spoken: The holier worship which He deigns to bless Restores the lost, and binds the spirit broken, And feeds the widow and the fatherless.
Follow with reverent steps the great example Of Him Whose holy work was doing good; So shall the wide earth seem our Fathers temple, Each loving life a psalm of gratitude.
Then shall all shackles fall; the stormy clangor Of wild war music oer the earth shall cease; Love shall tread out the baleful fire of anger, And in its ashes plant the tree of peace.

Matthew 18:21 - 35 Then Peter came to Him and said, "Lord, how often shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? Up to seven times?" Jesus said to him, "I do not say to you, up to seven times, but up to seventy times seven.
Therefore the kingdom of heaven is like a certain king who wanted to settle accounts with his servants. And when he had begun to settle accounts, one was brought to him who owed him ten thousand talents. But as he was not able to pay, his master commanded that he be sold, with his wife and children and all that he had, and that payment be made. The servant therefore fell down before him, saying, 'Master, have patience with me, and I will pay you all.' Then the master of that servant was moved with compassion, released him, and forgave him the debt.
But that servant went out and found one of his fellow servants who owed him a hundred denarii; and he laid hands on him and took him by the throat, saying, 'Pay me what you owe!' So his fellow servant fell down at his feet and begged him, saying, 'Have patience with me, and I will pay you all.' And he would not, but went and threw him into prison till he should pay the debt.
So when his fellow servants saw what had been done, they were very grieved, and came and told their master all that had been done. Then his master, after he had called him, said to him, 'You wicked servant! I forgave you all that debt because you begged me. Should you not also have had compassion on your fellow servant, just as I had pity on you?'
And his master was angry, and delivered him to the torturers until he should pay all that was due to him. So My heavenly Father also will do to you if each of you, from his heart, does not forgive his brother his trespasses."

1 Corinthians 5:7 Purge out therefore the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, as ye are unleavened. For even Christ our passover is sacrificed for us:
Hebrews 10 19 Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus, 20 By a new and living way, which he hath consecrated for us, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh;
John 10 1 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that entereth not by the door into the sheepfold, but climbeth up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber. 2 But he that entereth in by the door is the shepherd of the sheep. 3 To him the porter openeth; and the sheep hear his voice: and he calleth his own sheep by name, and leadeth them out. 4 And when he putteth forth his own sheep, he goeth before them, and the sheep follow him: for they know his voice. 5 And a stranger will they not follow, but will flee from him: for they know not the voice of strangers. 6 This parable spake Jesus unto them: but they understood not what things they were which he spake unto them. 7 Then said Jesus unto them again, Verily, verily, I say unto you, I am the door of the sheep. 8 All that ever came before me are thieves and robbers: but the sheep did not hear them. 9 I am the door: by Me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture. 10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have more abundantly.
Revelation 4 1 After this I looked, and, behold, a door opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter. 2 And immediately I was in the spirit:

I lift my heart to Thee, Savior divine; For Thou art all to me, And I am Thine; Is there on earth a closer bond than this, That my Belovèds mine, And I am His?
Thine am I by all ties; But chiefly Thine, That through Thy sacrifice Thou, Lord, art mine. By thine own cords of love, so sweetly wound Around me, I to Thee Am closely bound.
To Thee, Thou bleeding Lamb, I all things owe All that I have, and am, And all I know. All that I have is now no longer mine, And I am not mine own; Lord, I am Thine.
How can I, Lord, withhold Lifes brightest hour From Thee; or gathered gold, Or any power? Why should I keep one precious thing from Thee; When Thou hast givn Thine own Dear self for me?
I pray Thee, Savior, keep Me in Thy love, Until deaths holy sleep Shall me remove To that fair realm where, sin and sorrow oer, Thou and Thine own are one Forevermore.

Luke 15:21 - 32, 1 - 7 But when he was still a great way off, his father saw him and had compassion, and ran and fell on his neck and kissed him. And the son said to him, 'Father, I have sinned against heaven and in your sight, and am no longer worthy to be called your son.' But the father said to his servants, 'Bring out the best robe and put it on him, and put a ring on his hand and sandals on his feet. And bring the fatted calf here and kill it, and let us eat and be merry; for this my son was dead and is alive again; he was lost and is found.'
And they began to be merry. Now his older son was in the field. And as he came and drew near to the house, he heard music and dancing. So he called one of the servants and asked what these things meant. And he said to him, 'Your brother has come, and because he has received him safe and sound, your father has killed the fatted calf.' But he was angry and would not go in.
Therefore his father came out and pleaded with him. So he answered and said to his father, 'Lo, these many years I have been serving you; I never transgressed your commandment at any time; and yet you never gave me a young goat, that I might make merry with my friends. But as soon as this son of yours came, who has devoured your livelihood with harlots, you killed the fatted calf for him.' And he said to him, 'Son, you are always with me, and all that I have is yours. It was right that we should make merry and be glad, for your brother was dead and is alive again, and was lost and is found.' "
Then all the tax collectors and the sinners drew near to Him to hear Him. And the Pharisees and scribes complained, saying, "This Man receives sinners and eats with them."
So He spoke this parable to them, saying: What man of you, having a hundred sheep, if he loses one of them, does not leave the ninety-nine in the wilderness, and go after the one which is lost until he finds it? And when he has found it, he lays it on his shoulders, rejoicing. And when he comes home, he calls together his friends and neighbors, saying to them, 'Rejoice with me, for I have found my sheep which was lost!' I say to you that likewise there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine just persons who need no repentance.

Arise, my soul, arise; Shake off thy guilty fears; The bleeding sacrifice In my behalf appears: Before the throne my surety stands, My name is written on His hands.
He ever lives above, For me to intercede; His all redeeming love, His precious blood, to plead: His blood atoned for all our race, And sprinkles now the throne of grace.
Five bleeding wounds He bears; Received on Calvary; They pour effectual prayers; Fhey strongly plead for me: Forgive him, O forgive, they cry, Nor let that ransomed sinner die!
The Father hears Him pray, His dear anointed One; He cannot turn away, The presence of His Son; His Spirit answers to the blood, And tells me I am born of God.
My God is reconciled; His pardoning voice I hear; He owns me for His child; I can no longer fear: With confidence I now draw nigh, And Father, Abba, Father, cry.

For if you live according to the flesh you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live. For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God. For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, "Abba, Father."
