... songs in my heart and revelation from His word

I will sing unto the Lord as long as I live
I will sing praise to my God while I have my being
My meditation of Him shall be sweet
I will be glad, I will be glad in the Lord

Bless thou the Lord, O my soul
Praise ye the Lord
Bless thou the Lord, O my soul
Praise ye the Lord
Bless thou the Lord, O my soul
Praise ye the Lord
Bless thou the Lord, O my soul
Praise ye the Lord

Galatians 3:18 - 21
For if the inheritance is of the law, it is no longer of promise; but God gave it to Abraham by promise.

What purpose then does the law serve? It was added because of transgressions, till the Seed should come to whom the promise was made; and it was appointed through angels by the hand of a mediator. Now a mediator does not mediate for one only, but God is one.

Is] the law then against the promises of God?

Certainly not! For if there had been a law given which could have given life, truly righteousness would have been by the law.

 Re: Today, I'm praising God for ...

... strength for the day, and His compassion on the broken lives of men

Sing, ye ransomed nations, sing
Praises to our new-born King;
Son of Man our Maker is,
Lord of Hosts and Prince of Peace.

Lo! He lays His glory by,
Emptied of His majesty!
See the God Who all things made,
Humbly in a manger laid.

Cast we off our needless fear,
Boldly to His cratch draw near;
Jesus is our flesh and bone,
God-with-Us is all our own.

Let us then with angels gaze
On our new-born Monarch’s face,
With the choir celestial joined,
Shout the Savior of mankind.

Son of Man, will He despise
Man’s well meaning sacrifice?
No; with condescending grace
He accepts His creature’s praise.

Will His majesty disdain
The poor shepherd’s simple strain?
No; for Israel’s Shepherd He
Loves their artless melody.

He will not refuse the song
Of the stammering infant’s tongue;
Babes He hears humanely mild,
Once Himself a little Child.

Let us then our Prince proclaim,
Humbly chant Immanuel’s Name;
Publish at His wondrous birth
Praise in Heaven and peace on earth.

Triumph in our Savior’s love,
Till He takes us up above,
All His majesty displays,
Shows us all His glorious face.

Galatians 3:22
But the Scripture has confined all under sin, that the promise by faith in Jesus Christ might be given to those who believe.

I thank God for my food. I thank him for my car.
I thank him for hearing my prayers this day.
I thank that he gave what I needed to do his will. He is so faithful

 Re:

2”I long for the years gone by when God took care of me,
when he lighted the way before me and I walked safely
through the darkness.

4”In my early years, the friendship of God was felt in my home.
The Almighty was still with me, and my children were around me.
In those days my cows produced milk in abundance, and my olive
Groves poured out streams of olive oil.

7”Those were the days when I went to the city gate and took my place among
the honored leaders. The young stepped aside when they saw em, and even
the aged rose in respect at my coming.

9”The princes stood in silence and put their hands over their mouths.
The highest officials of the city stood quietly, holding their tongues in respect.

11”All who heard of me praised me. All who saw me spoke well of me. For
I helped the poor in their need and the orphans who had no one to help them.
I helped those who had lost hope, and they blessed me.
I caused the widow’s hearts to sing for joy.

14”All I did was just and honest. Righteousness covered me like a robe, and I wore justice like a turban.

15” I served as eyes for the blind and feet for the lame. I was a father (lower case) to the
poor and made sure that even strangers received a fair trial. I broke the jaws of the godless oppressors and made them release their victims.

21 “Everyone listened to me and valued my advice. They were silent as they waited for me to speak. And after I spoke, they had nothing to add, for my counsel satisfied them. They longed for me to speak as they longed for rain. They waited eagerly, for my words were as refreshing as the spring rain.

24 “When they were discouraged I smiled at them. My look of approval was precious to them.

25 “I told them what they should do and presided over them as their chief (lower case). I lived as a king among his troops and as one that comforts who mourn.

Today, i’m praising God for this Honor, one that cannot be altered.

... more revelation from His word, hope, patience and strength

O God of Bethel, by Whose hand
Thy people still are fed,
Who through this weary pilgrimage
Hast all our fathers led.

Our vows, our prayers, we now present
Before Thy throne of grace;
God of our fathers, be the God
Of their succeeding race.

Through each perplexing path of life
Our wandering footsteps guide;
Give us each day our daily bread,
And raiment fit provide.

O spread Thy covering wings around
Till all our wanderings cease,
And at our Father’s loved abode
Our souls arrive in peace.

Such blessings from Thy gracious hand
Our humble prayers implore;
And Thou shalt be our chosen God,
And portion evermore.

Galatians 3:23 - 29
But before faith came, we were kept under guard by the law, kept for the faith which would afterward be revealed. Therefore the law was our tutor to bring us] to Christ, that we might be justified by faith. But after faith has come, we are no longer under a tutor.

For you are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus. For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ. There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus. And if you are Christ's, then you are Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.

... the perseverance which accompanies the eternal hope

Teach me Thy way, O Lord,
Teach me Thy way!
Thy guiding grace afford,
Teach me Thy way!
Help me to walk aright,
More by faith, less by sight;
Lead me with heav’nly light,
Teach me Thy way!

When I am sad at heart,
Teach me Thy way!
When earthly joys depart,
Teach me Thy way!
In hours of loneliness,
In times of dire distress,
In failure or success,
Teach me Thy way!

When doubts and fears arise,
Teach me Thy way!
When storms o’erspread the skies,
Teach me Thy way!
Shine through the cloud and rain,
Through sorrow, toil and pain;
Make Thou my pathway plain,
Teach me Thy way!

Long as my life shall last,
Teach me Thy way!
Where’er my lot be cast,
Teach me Thy way!
Until the race is run,
Until the journey’s done,
Until the crown is won,
Teach me Thy way!

Galatians 4:1 - 5
Now I say that the heir, as long as he is a child, does not differ at all from a slave, though he is master of all, but is under guardians and stewards until the time appointed by the father.

Even so we, when we were children, were in bondage under the elements of the world.

But when the fullness of the time had come, God sent forth His Son, born of a woman, born under the law, to redeem those who were under the law, that we might receive the adoption as sons.

... fellowship with saints across the miles and mutual respect of each other's ministries

Lord, enthroned in heavenly splendor,
First begotten from the dead,
You alone, our strong Defender,
Now lift up Your people’s head.
Alleluia! Alleluia! Alleluia!
First begotten from the dead.

Here our humblest homage pay we,
Here in loving reverence bow;
Here for faith’s discernment pray we,
Lest we fail to know You now.
Alleluia! Alleluia! Alleluia!
Here in loving reverence bow.

Though the lowliest form doth veil Thee
As of old in Bethlehem,
Here as there Thine angels hail Thee,
Branch and Flower of Jesse’s stem.
Alleluia! Alleluia! Alleluia!
Branch and Flower of Jesse’s stem.

Paschal Lamb, Your offering finished
Once for all when You were slain,
In its fullness undiminished
Shall forevermore remain.
Alleluia! Alleluia! Alleluia!
Shall forevermore remain.

Great High Priest of our profession,
Through the veil Thou wentest in,
By Thy mighty intercession,
Grace and peace for us to win.
Alleluia! Alleluia! Alleluia!
Grace and peace for us to win.

Life imparting heavenly Manna,
Smitten Rock with streaming side,
Heaven and earth with loud hosanna
Worship You, the Lamb Who died.
Alleluia! Alleluia! Alleluia!
Worship You, the Lamb Who died.

Galatians 4:6 - 11
Even as Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness. Know ye therefore that they which are of faith, the same are the children of Abraham.

And the scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the heathen through faith, preached before the gospel unto Abraham, saying, 'In thee shall all nations be blessed.'

So then they which be of faith are blessed with faithful Abraham. For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse: for it is written, Cursed is every one that continueth not in all things which are written in the book of the law to do them.

But that no man is justified by the law in the sight of God, it is evident: for, 'The just shall live by faith.'
