| Re: Today, I'm praising God for ... | | ... His continual care of my earthly needs, as well as the supply of His Spirit, according to my earnest expectation and hope
Glorious things of thee are spoken, Zion, city of our God! He, whose Word cannot be broken, Formed thee for His own abode. On the Rock of Ages founded, What can shake thy sure repose? With salvations walls surrounded, Thou mayst smile at all thy foes.
See! the streams of living waters, Springing from eternal love; Well supply thy sons and daughters, And all fear of want remove: Who can faint while such a river Ever flows their thirst tassuage? Grace, which like the Lord, the Giver, Never fails from age to age.
Round each habitation hovering, See the cloud and fire appear! For a glory and a covring Showing that the Lord is near. Blest inhabitants of Zion, Washed in the Redeemers blood! Jesus, whom their souls rely on, Makes them kings and priests to God.
Savior, if of Zions city, I through grace a member am, Let the world deride or pity, I will glory in Thy Name. Fading is the worldlings pleasure, All his boasted pomp and show; Solid joys and lasting treasure None but Zions children know.

Jude 1:19 - 25 These are sensual persons, who cause divisions, not having the Spirit.
But you, beloved, building yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit, keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life. And on some have compassion, making a distinction; but others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire, hating even the garment defiled by the flesh.
Now to Him who is able to keep you from stumbling, And to present you faultless Before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy,
To God our Savior, Who alone is wise, Be glory and majesty, Dominion and power, Both now and forever.
Amen.

Jesus bids us shine With a pure, clear light, Like a little candle Burning in the night. In this world of darkness So let us shine You in your small corner, And I in mine.
Jesus bids us shine, First of all for Him; Well He sees and knows it, If our light grows dim. He looks down from Heaven To see us shine You in your small corner, And I in mine.
Jesus bids us shine, Then, for all around; Many kinds of darkness In the world are found Sin and want and sorrow; So we must shine You in your small corner, And I in mine.

1 John 4:9 In this the love of God was manifested toward us, that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through Him.

| Re: Today, I'm praising God for ... | | ... all His wonderful provisions for me, including the work of the Holy Spirit to bear me through the miniscule trials of a day
A wonderful Savior is Jesus my Lord, A wonderful Savior to me; He hideth my soul in the cleft of the rock, Where rivers of pleasure I see.
Refrain He hideth my soul in the cleft of the rock That shadows a dry, thirsty land; He hideth my life with the depths of His love, And covers me there with His hand, And covers me there with His hand.
A wonderful Savior is Jesus my Lord, He taketh my burden away; He holdeth me up, and I shall not be moved, He giveth me strength as my day.
Refrain
With numberless blessings each moment He crowns, And filled with His fullness divine, I sing in my rapture, oh, glory to God For such a Redeemer as mine!
Refrain
When clothed in His brightness, transported I rise To meet Him in clouds of the sky, His perfect salvation, His wonderful love Ill shout with the millions on high.

Galatians 1:1 - 5 Paul, an apostle (not from men nor through man, but through Jesus Christ and God the Father who raised Him from the dead), and all the brethren who are with me, To the churches of Galatia:
Grace to you and peace from God the Father and our Lord Jesus Christ, who gave Himself for our sins, that He might deliver us from this present evil age, according to the will of our God and Father, to whom be glory forever and ever.
Amen.

| Re: | | A long, long drink of cold water after going off meds, food, and water for another medical procedure.
This time I actually went under anesthesthia, ohhh, but how wonderful it was to get my ice water back.
Now, daily, I thank God for all that He gives me, hot and cold running water, air heating and conditioning, food, shelter, my family, friends, and my blessed coyote mutt, Chance.
But how wonderful was that simple long draught of cold, clean water!
And I praised God for it, and prayed for all those in the world who do not have it, and got a real vivid picture of the Trib when there will be scorching heat, but all the water will have been turned to blood.
And I thanked God I would not be here to see that as well.
Blessings,

| Re: Today, I'm praising God for ... | | ... the kind of confident fortitude which only He can work in a heart (and mind and soul and spirit)
Rock of Ages, cleft for me, Let me hide myself in Thee; Let the water and the blood, From Thy wounded side which flowed, Be of sin the double cure; Save from wrath and make me pure.
Not the labor of my hands Can fulfill Thy laws demands; Could my zeal no respite know, Could my tears forever flow, All for sin could not atone; Thou must save, and Thou alone.
Nothing in my hand I bring, Simply to the cross I cling; Naked, come to Thee for dress; Helpless look to Thee for grace; Foul, I to the fountain fly; Wash me, Savior, or I die.
While I draw this fleeting breath, When mine eyes shall close in death, When I soar to worlds unknown, See Thee on Thy judgment throne, Rock of Ages, cleft for me, Let me hide myself in Thee.

Galatians 1: 6, 7 I marvel that you are turning away so soon from Him who called you in the grace of Christ, to a different gospel, which is not another; but there are some who trouble you and want to pervert the gospel of Christ.

| Re: | | yes webrev and I thank God for all He has given me--Godly Grandmothers and Mother, a wonderful childhood, stable and concerned parents, health, I could post a really long list of God's grace over my life. Most of all I'm praising God today for His overcoming power, mercy, and grace to overcome all that is not of Him.
Secondly I thank God for brothers and sisters, true brothers and sisters in the Lord who pray, who believe, and who walk out His truth in their life as a testimony of overcoming for my witness and strength.
Praise Him Praise Him all ye little children. |

Love came down at Christmas, Love all lovely, love divine; Love was born at Christmas, Star and angels gave the sign.
Worship we the Godhead, Love incarnate, love divine; Worship we our Jesus: But wherewith for sacred sign?
Love shall be our token, Love shall be yours and love be mine, Love to God and to all men, Love for plea and gift and sign.

Galatians 1:8 - 12 But even if we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel to you than what we have preached to you, let him be accursed.
As we have said before, so now I say again, if anyone preaches any other gospel to you than what you have received, let him be accursed. For do I now persuade men, or God?
Or do I seek to please men?
For if I still pleased men, I would not be a bondservant of Christ. But I make known to you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached by me is not according to man. For I neither received it from man, nor was I taught it, but it came through the revelation of Jesus Christ.

Day is dying in the west; Heavn is touching earth with rest; Wait and worship while the night Sets the evening lamps alight Through all the sky.
Refrain Holy, holy, holy, Lord God of Hosts! Heavn and earth are full of Thee! Heavn and earth are praising Thee, O Lord most high!
Lord of life, beneath the dome Of the universe, Thy home, Gather us who seek Thy face To the fold of Thy embrace, For Thou art nigh.
Refrain
While the deepening shadows fall, Heart of love enfolding all, Through the glory and the grace Of the stars that veil Thy face, Our hearts ascend.
Refrain
When forever from our sight Pass the stars, the day, the night, Lord of angels, on our eyes Let eternal morning rise And shadows end.

Galatians 1:13 - 19 For you have heard of my former conduct in Judaism, how I persecuted the church of God beyond measure and tried to destroy it. And I advanced in Judaism beyond many of my contemporaries in my own nation, being more exceedingly zealous for the traditions of my fathers.
But when it pleased God, who separated me from my mother's womb and called me through His grace, to reveal His Son in me, that I might preach Him among the Gentiles, I did not immediately confer with flesh and blood, nor did I go up to Jerusalem to those who were apostles before me; but I went to Arabia, and returned again to Damascus.
Then after three years I went up to Jerusalem to see Peter, and remained with him fifteen days. But I saw none of the other apostles except James, the Lord's brother.
