| Re: Today, I'm praising God for ... | | ... His grace to me in sickness and for healing me
I worship Thee, most gracious God, And all Thy ways adore; And every day I live, I seem To love Thee more and more.
When obstacles and trials seem Like prison walls to be, I do the little I can do, And leave the rest to Thee.
I have no cares, O blessèd Will, For all my cares are Thine; I live in triumph, Lord, for Thou Hast made Thy triumphs mine.
He always wins who sides with God; To him no chance is lost; Gods will is sweetest to him when It triumphs at his cost.
Ill that He blesses is our good, And unblest good is ill; And all is right that seems most wrong, If it be His sweet will.

1 Corinthians 16:12 - 18 Now concerning our brother Apollos, I strongly urged him to come to you with the brethren, but he was quite unwilling to come at this time; however, he will come when he has a convenient time.
Watch, stand fast in the faith, be brave, be strong. Let all that you do be done with love.
I urge you, brethren -- you know the household of Stephanas, that it is the firstfruits of Achaia, and that they have devoted themselves to the ministry of the saints -- that you also submit to such, and to everyone who works and labors with us.
I am glad about the coming of Stephanas, Fortunatus, and Achaicus, for what was lacking on your part they supplied. For they refreshed my spirit and yours. Therefore acknowledge such men.

| Re: Today, I'm praising God for ... | | ... being able to explain the application of the gospel to a very real situation
In heavenly love abiding, no change my heart shall fear. And safe in such confiding, for nothing changes here. The storm may roar without me, my heart may low be laid, But God is round about me, and can I be dismayed?
Wherever He may guide me, no want shall turn me back. My Shepherd is beside me, and nothing can I lack. His wisdom ever waking, His sight is never dim. He knows the way Hes taking, and I will walk with Him.
Green pastures are before me, which yet I have not seen. Bright skies will soon be over me, where darkest clouds have been. My hope I cannot measure, my path to life is free. My Savior has my treasure, and He will walk with me.

1 Corinthians 16:19 - 23 The churches of Asia greet you. Aquila and Priscilla greet you heartily in the Lord, with the church that is in their house.
All the brethren greet you.
Greet one another with a holy kiss.
The salutation with my own hand -- Paul's.
If anyone does not love the Lord Jesus Christ, let him be accursed. O Lord, come!
The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you.
My love be with you all in Christ Jesus. Amen.

| Re: Today, I'm praising God for ... | | ... continuing to heal me and to speak to me through fellow saints
Would Jesus have the sinner die? Why hangs He then on yonder tree? What means that strange expiring cry? Sinners, He prays for you and me, "Forgive them, Father, O forgive, They know not that by Me they live!"
He prays for those that shed His blood: And who from Jesu's blood is pure? Who hath not crucified his God? Whose sins did not His death procure? If all have sinned through Adam's fall, Our Second Adam died for all.
Adam descended from above Our loss of Eden to retrieve; Great God of universal love, If all the world in Thee may live, In us a quickening Spirit be, And witness, Thou hast died for me.
Dear, loving, all-atoning Lamb, Thee, by Thy painful agony, Thy bloody sweat, Thy grief and shame, Thy cross and passion on the tree, Thy precious death, and life, I pray - Take all, take all my sins away!
O let me kiss Thy bleeding feet, And bathe, and wash them with my tears: The story of Thy love repeat In every drooping sinner's ears, That all may hear the quickening sound: If I, even I, have mercy found!
O let Thy love my heart constrain, Thy love for every sinner free, That every fallen soul of man May taste the grace that found out me; That all mankind, with me, may prove Thy sovereign, everlasting love.

Just as I am, without one plea, But that Thy blood was shed for me, And that Thou bidst me come to Thee, O Lamb of God, I come, I come.
Just as I am, and waiting not To rid my soul of one dark blot, To Thee whose blood can cleanse each spot, O Lamb of God, I come, I come.
Just as I am, though tossed about With many a conflict, many a doubt, Fightings and fears within, without, O Lamb of God, I come, I come.
Just as I am, poor, wretched, blind; Sight, riches, healing of the mind, Yea, all I need in Thee to find, O Lamb of God, I come, I come.
Just as I am, Thou wilt receive, Wilt welcome, pardon, cleanse, relieve; Because Thy promise I believe, O Lamb of God, I come, I come.
Just as I am, Thy love unknown Hath broken every barrier down; Now, to be Thine, yea, Thine alone, O Lamb of God, I come, I come.
Just as I am, of that free love The breadth, length, depth, and height to prove, Here for a season, then above, O Lamb of God, I come, I come!

John 1:14 - 18 And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.
John [the Baptist] bore witness of Him and cried out, saying, "This was He of whom I said, 'He who comes after me is preferred before me, for He was before me.' " And of His fullness we have all received, and grace for grace. For the law was given through Moses, but grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.
No one has seen God at any time. The only begotten Son, who is in the bosom of the Father, He has declared Him.

The race that long in darkness pined, Have seen a glorious Light; The people dwell in day, who dwelt In deaths surrounding night.
To hail Thy rise, Thou better Sun, The gathering nations come, Joyous as when the reapers bear The harvest treasures home.
For Thou our burden hast removed, And quelled the oppressors sway, Quick as the slaughtered squadrons fell In Midians evil day.
To us a Child of Hope is born, To us a Son is given, Him shall the tribes of earth obey, Him all the hosts of heaven.
His Name shall be the Prince of Peace, Forevermore adored, The Wonderful, the Counselor, The great and mighty Lord.
His power increasing still shall spread, His reign no end shall know: Justice shall guard His throne above, And peace abound below.

Titus 1:1 - 4 Paul, a bondservant of God and an apostle of Jesus Christ, according to the faith of God's elect and the acknowledgment of the truth which accords with godliness, in hope of eternal life which God, who cannot lie, promised before time began, but has in due time manifested His word through preaching, which was committed to me according to the commandment of God our Savior;
To Titus, a true son in our common faith: Grace, mercy, and peace from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ our Savior.

| Re: Today, I'm praising God for ... | | ... this fellowship of saints, encouragement of heart, a good sleep, and rain
The Churchs one foundation Is Jesus Christ her Lord, She is His new creation By water and the Word. From heaven He came and sought her To be His holy bride; With His own blood He bought her And for her life He died.
Elect from every nation, Yet one oer all the earth; Her charter of salvation, One Lord, one faith, one birth; One holy Name she blesses, Partakes one holy food, And to one hope she presses, With every grace endued.
The Church shall never perish! Her dear Lord to defend, To guide, sustain, and cherish, Is with her to the end: Though there be those who hate her, And false sons in her pale, Against both foe or traitor She ever shall prevail.
Though with a scornful wonder Men see her sore oppressed, By schisms rent asunder, By heresies distressed: Yet saints their watch are keeping, Their cry goes up, How long? And soon the night of weeping Shall be the morn of song!
Mid toil and tribulation, And tumult of her war, She waits the consummation Of peace forevermore; Till, with the vision glorious, Her longing eyes are blest, And the great Church victorious Shall be the Church at rest.
Yet she on earth hath union With God the Three in One, And mystic sweet communion With those whose rest is won, With all her sons and daughters Who, by the Masters hand Led through the deathly waters, Repose in Eden land.
O happy ones and holy! Lord, give us grace that we Like them, the meek and lowly, On high may dwell with Thee: There, past the border mountains, Where in sweet vales the Bride With Thee by living fountains Forever shall abide!

Titus 1:5 - 9 For this reason I left you in Crete, that you should set in order the things that are lacking, and appoint elders in every city as I commanded you -- if a man is blameless, the husband of one wife, having faithful children not accused of dissipation or insubordination.
For a bishop must be blameless, as a steward of God, not self-willed, not quick-tempered, not given to wine, not violent, not greedy for money, but hospitable, a lover of what is good, sober-minded, just, holy, self-controlled, holding fast the faithful word as he has been taught, that he may be able, by sound doctrine, both to exhort and convict those who contradict.

Jesus, my Lord, to Thee I cry; Unless Thou help me I must die; Oh, bring Thy free salvation nigh, And take me as I am.
Refrain And take me as I am, And take me as I am, My only pleaChrist died for me! Oh, take me as I am.
Helpless I am, and full of guilt; But yet for me Thy blood was spilt, And Thou canst make me what Thou wilt, And take me as I am.
Refrain
No preparation can I make, My best resolves I only break, Yet save me for Thine own Names sake, And take me as I am.
Refrain
Behold me, Savior, at Thy feet, Deal with me as Thou seest meet; Thy work begin, Thy work complete, And take me as I am.

(Please read the testimonies on the cyberhymnal page. 8-) )
Titus 1:10 - 16 For there are many insubordinate, both idle talkers and deceivers, especially those of the circumcision, whose mouths must be stopped, who subvert whole households, teaching things which they ought not, for the sake of dishonest gain.
One of them, a prophet of their own, said, "Cretans are always liars, evil beasts, lazy gluttons." This testimony is true. Therefore rebuke them sharply, that they may be sound in the faith, not giving heed to Jewish fables and commandments of men who turn from the truth.
To the pure all things are pure, but to those who are defiled and unbelieving nothing is pure; but even their mind and conscience are defiled. They profess to know God, but in works they deny Him, being abominable, disobedient, and disqualified for every good work.

| Re: Today, I'm praising God for ... | | ... these wonderful answers to prayer for our brother Gary and sister Forrest
Search me, O God, And know my heart today; Try me, O Savior, Know my thoughts, I pray. See if there be Some wicked way in me; Cleanse me from every sin And set me free.
I praise Thee, Lord, For cleansing me from sin; Fulfill Thy Word, And make me pure within. Fill me with fire Where once I burned with shame; Grant my desire To magnify Thy Name.
Lord, take my life, And make it wholly Thine; Fill my poor heart With Thy great love divine. Take all my will, My passion, self and pride; I now surrender, Lord In me abide.
O Holy Ghost, Revival comes from Thee; Send a revival, Start the work in me. Thy Word declares Thou wilt supply our need; For blessings now, O Lord, I humbly plead.

Titus 2:1 - 5 But as for you, speak the things which are proper for sound doctrine: that the older men be sober, reverent, temperate, sound in faith, in love, in patience; the older women likewise, that they be reverent in behavior, not slanderers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things -- that they admonish the young women to love their husbands, to love their children, to be discreet, chaste, homemakers, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God may not be blasphemed.

1 The Lord of heav'n confess, On high His glory raise. 2 Him let all angels bless, Him all His armies praise. 3 Him glorify Sun, moon, and stars; 4 Ye higher spheres, And cloudy sky.
5 From God your beings are, Him therefore famous make; You all created were, When He the word but spake. 6 And from that place, Where fixed you be By His decree, You cannot pass.
7 Praise God from earth below, Ye dragons, and ye deeps: 8 Fire, hail, clouds, wind, and snow. Whom in command He keeps. 9 Praise ye His name, Hills great and small, Trees low and tall; 10 Beasts wild and tame;
All things that creep or fly. 11 Ye kings, ye vulgar throng, All princes mean or high; 12 Both men and virgins young, Ev'n young and old, 13 Exalt His name; For much His fame Should be extolled.
O let God's name be praised Above both earth and sky; 14 For He His saints hath raised, And set their horn on high; Ev'n those that be Of Isr'el's race, Near to His grace. The Lord praise ye.
