the wonder that He is!
the fruit that come from a living in His righteousness.
the joy of knowing that I am in fellowship with the eternal God!
"Joy unspeakable and full of glory" (1Pe 1:8) A Christian's joy is full of glory. A Christian's joy cannot be measured through words!(adapted from Johnathan Edwards)
to have found grace and to know that I'm loved by God! Halelujah!
Wow ~ Thank you mtembezi. This has really blessed me today.
Amen ! |

| Re: Today, I'm praising God for... | | ... for fellowship in the Holy Spirit and the operation of faith and love.
Come, Holy Ghost, our hearts inspire;
Let us thine influence prove,
Source of the old prophetic fire,
Fountain of life and love.
Come, Holy Ghost, for moved by thee
The prophets wrote and spoke;
Unlock the truth, thyself the key;
Unseal the sacred book.
Expand thy wings, celestial Dove;
Brood oer our natures night;
On our disordered spirits move,
And let there now be light.
God through himself we then shall know,
If thou within us shine,
And sound, with all the saints below,
The depths of love divine.

| Re:LOVE. | | dorcas, this was beautiful and I thought it deserved to be enboldened. :-)
He "IS" LOVE. And in my quiet time today, He was saying again, "Love each other 'fervently' and 'without partiality' or ... 'equally' love each brother and sister" ... it is an overwhelming Love that HE has for us and only by His Spirit can we come into that type love, so that's why I like the words to what you've posted here so very much. ~ One Head ~ One Spirit ~ One Body ~
thank you dorcas for posting this .....

... always being ready for me ... for knowing what I need to hear and saying it ... for catching me up into His greater purposes that I might be pleasing to Him through my obedience. Amen.
The Lord hath sent His only Son, To preach the acceptable year, To make the joyful tidings known Of vengeance, and deliverance near.
To avenge them of their tyrant foe, From sin, and Satan's power to turn, The gift of righteousness bestow, And kindly comfort all that mourn.
To make them trees of righteousness, The planting of the Lord, below; Planted in honour of His grace, They here shall to perfection grow.
Ye all my glory shall declare, The chosen people of your God, Mine image and inscription bear When washed from all your sins in blood.
A royal race of priests Divine, Ye all shall minister my grace, In prayers and freewill offerings join, And sacrificial songs of praise.
With me is full redemption found, Ye more than justified shall be, Much more than sin shall grace abound, My people shall be all like Me:
Shall glory in my saving Name; I will remove the foul disgrace And swallow up their guilty shame, And all their sins with blood efface.
Their glory shall their shame exceed, When saved from all indwelling sin, Doubly redeemed and free indeed, Their conscience and their heart is clean.
They now of double grace possessed, Shall all their souls in thanks employ, Received into my perfect rest, And crowned with everlasting joy.

Lord of all being, throned afar,
Thy glory flames from sun and star;
Centre and soul of every sphere,
Yet to each loving heart how near!
Sun of our life, thy quickening ray
Sheds on our path the glow of day;
Star of our hope, thy softened light
Cheers the long watches of the night.
Our midnight is thy smile withdrawn,
Our noontide is thy gracious dawn,
Our rainbow arch thy mercys sign;
All, save the clouds of sin, are thine.
Lord of all life, below, above,
Whose light is truth, whose warmth is love,
Before thy ever-blazing throne
We ask no lustre of our own.
Grant us thy truth to make us free,
And kindling hearts that burn for thee,
Till all thy living altars claim
One holy light, one heavenly flame.

...growth and new challenges, and hope for changes.
In heavenly love abiding, No change my heart shall fear. And safe in such confiding, For nothing changes here. The storm may roar without me, My heart may low be laid, But God is round about me, And can I be dismayed?
Wherever He may guide me, No want shall turn me back. My Shepherd is beside me, And nothing can I lack. His wisdom ever waking, His sight is never dim. He knows the way Hes taking, And I will walk with Him
Green pastures are before me, Which yet I have not seen. Bright skies will soon be over me, Where darkest clouds have been. My hope I cannot measure, My path to life is free. My Savior has my treasure, And He will walk with me.

Psalm 23 1 The LORD my shepherd; I shall not want. 2 He makes me to lie down in green pastures: he leads me beside the still waters. 3 He restores my soul: he leads me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake. 4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. 5 Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. 6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.

| Re: Today, I'm praising God for ... | | ... progress in practical matters, the fellowship of saints, the whisper of the Spirit, and finding this hymn to my favourite tune for it. :-)
THOU art the everlasting Word, The Father's only Son, God manifest, God seen and heard, The heaven's beloved One; The Lamb of God, exalted Lord Worthy art Thou to be adored! Worthy art Thou to be adored!
In Thee most perfectly expressed, The Father's self doth shine; Fulness of Godhead, too; the Blest, Eternally divine. Worthy O Lamb of God art Thou That every knee to Thee should bow! That every knee to Thee should bow!
The higher mysteries of Thy fame, The creature's grasp transcend; The Father only that blest name Of Son can comprehend. The sweetness of that name of love The Father gives us now to prove. The Father gives us now to prove.
Yet loving Thee, on whom His love Ineffable doth rest, Our hearts are led to Him above, And we with Thee are blest. The Father's name Thou hast declared, The Father's love with Thee is shared. The Father's love with Thee is shared.
Of the vast universe of bliss, The Centre Thou and Sun; The eternal theme of praise is this, That God's beloved Son Fills all that scene, where God alone In His own rest is fully known. In His own rest is fully known.

| Re: Today, I'm praising God for ... | | ... Jesus Christ, the King of kings and Lord of lords, who is worthy of all praise and exaltation. Hallelujah!!!
Glorious things of thee are spoken, Zion, city of our God! He, Whose Word cannot be broken, Formed thee for His own abode. On the Rock of Ages founded, What can shake thy sure repose? With salvations walls surrounded, Thou mayst smile at all thy foes.
See! the streams of living waters, Springing from eternal love; Well supply thy sons and daughters, And all fear of want remove: Who can faint while such a river Ever flows their thirst tassuage? Grace, which like the Lord, the Giver, Never fails from age to age.
Round each habitation hovering, See the cloud and fire appear! For a glory and a covring Showing that the Lord is near. Blest inhabitants of Zion, Washed in the Redeemers blood! Jesus, Whom their souls rely on, Makes them kings and priests to God.
Savior, if of Zions city, I through grace a member am, Let the world deride or pity, I will glory in Thy Name. Fading is the worldlings pleasure, All his boasted pomp and show; Solid joys and lasting treasure None but Zions children know.

Revelation 5
Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honour, and glory, and blessing. 13 And every creature which is in heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, heard I saying, Blessing, and honour, and glory, and power, unto him that sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb for ever and ever. |
