... the realisation I've just tested some of the deepest work He's ever done in me, and proved it sound.... :-D Hallelujah!
How firm a foundation, ye saints of the Lord, Is laid for your faith in His excellent Word! What more can He say than to you He hath said, You, who unto Jesus for refuge have fled?
In every condition, in sickness, in health; In povertys vale, or abounding in wealth; At home and abroad, on the land, on the sea, As thy days may demand, shall thy strength ever be.
Fear not, I am with thee, O be not dismayed, For I am thy God and will still give thee aid; Ill strengthen and help thee, and cause thee to stand Upheld by My righteous, omnipotent hand.
When through the deep waters I call thee to go, The rivers of woe shall not thee overflow; For I will be with thee, thy troubles to bless, And sanctify to thee thy deepest distress.
When through fiery trials thy pathways shall lie, My grace, all sufficient, shall be thy supply; The flame shall not hurt thee; I only design Thy dross to consume, and thy gold to refine.
Even down to old age all My people shall prove My sovereign, eternal, unchangeable love; And when hoary hairs shall their temples adorn, Like lambs they shall still in My bosom be borne.
The soul that on Jesus has leaned for repose, I will not, I will not desert to its foes; That soul, though all hell should endeavor to shake, Ill never, no never, no never forsake.

| Re: Today, I'm praising God for ... | | ... the great tapestry of life through which He works out His purposes for His people
The Lord's my shepherd, I'll not want. He makes me down to lie In pastures green: he leadeth me In pastures green: he leadeth me The quiet waters by.
My soul he doth restore again; And me to walk doth make Within the paths of righteousness, Within the paths of righteousness, Ev'n for his own name's sake.
Yea, though I walk in death's dark vale, Yet will I fear none ill: For thou art with me; and thy rod For thou art with me; and thy rod And staff me comfort still. My table thou hast furnished In presence of my foes; My head thou dost with oil anoint, My head thou dost with oil anoint, And my cup overflows.
Goodness and mercy all my life Shall surely follow me: And in God's house for evermore And in God's house for evermore My dwelling-place shall be.

| Re: Today, I'm praising God for ... | | ... the comfort of the Spirit's work, and patience
O spread the tidings round, wherever man is found, Wherever human hearts and human woes abound; Let evry Christian tongue proclaim the joyful sound: The Comforter has come!
Refrain The Comforter has come, the Comforter has come! The Holy Ghost from Heavn, the Fathers promise givn; O spread the tidings round, wherever man is found The Comforter has come!
Refrain
Lo, the great King of kings, with healing in His wings, To evry captive soul a full deliverance brings; And through the vacant cells the song of triumph rings; The Comforter has come!
Refrain
O boundless love divine! How shall this tongue of mine To wondring mortals tell the matchless grace divine That I, a child of hell, should in His image shine! The Comforter has come!

| Re: Today, I'm praising God for... | | ... a wonderful day of fellowship with saints
The King of love my Shepherd is, Whose goodness faileth never, I nothing lack if I am His And He is mine forever.
Where streams of living water flow My ransomed soul He leadeth, And where the verdant pastures grow, With food celestial feedeth.
Perverse and foolish oft I strayed, But yet in love He sought me, And on His shoulder gently laid, And home, rejoicing, brought me.
In deaths dark vale I fear no ill With Thee, dear Lord, beside me; Thy rod and staff my comfort still, Thy cross before to guide me.
Thou spreadst a table in my sight; Thy unction grace bestoweth; And O what transport of delight From Thy pure chalice floweth!
And so through all the length of days Thy goodness faileth never; Good Shepherd, may I sing Thy praise Within Thy house forever.

1 Corinthians 10:24 - 33 Let no one seek his own, but each one the other's well-being.
Eat whatever is sold in the meat market, asking no questions for conscience' sake; for "the earth is the LORD's, and all its fullness."
If any of those who do not believe invites you to dinner, and you desire to go, eat whatever is set before you, asking no question for conscience' sake.
But if anyone says to you, "This was offered to idols," do not eat it for the sake of the one who told you, and for conscience' sake; for "the earth is the LORD's, and all its fullness." "Conscience," I say, not your own, but that of the other.
For why is my liberty judged by another man's conscience? But if I partake with thanks, why am I evil spoken of for the food over which I give thanks? Therefore, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.
Give no offense, either to the Jews or to the Greeks or to the church of God, just as I also please all men in all things, not seeking my own profit, but the profit of many, that they may be saved.

| Re: Today, I'm praising God for ... | | ... all sorts of progress, and His presence which calls me on, and which comforts me
Mine eyes have seen the glory of the coming of the Lord; He is trampling out the vintage where the grapes of wrath are stored; He hath loosed the fateful lightning of His terrible swift sword; His truth is marching on. Glory! Glory! Hallelujah! Glory! Glory! Hallelujah! Glory! Glory! Hallelujah! His truth is marching on.
He has sounded forth the trumpet that shall never call retreat; He is sifting out the hearts of men before His judgment seat; Oh, be swift, my soul, to answer Him! be jubilant, my feet; Our God is marching on. Glory! Glory! Hallelujah! Glory! Glory! Hallelujah! Glory! Glory! Hallelujah! Our God is marching on.
In the beauty of the lilies Christ was born across the sea, With a glory in His bosom that transfigures you and me: As He died to make men holy, let us live to make men free; While God is marching on. Glory! Glory! Hallelujah! Glory! Glory! Hallelujah! Glory! Glory! Hallelujah! While God is marching on.
He is coming like the glory of the morning on the wave, He is wisdom to the mighty, He is honor to the brave; So the world shall be His footstool, and the soul of wrong His slave, Our God is marching on. Glory! Glory! Hallelujah! Glory! Glory! Hallelujah! Glory! Glory! Hallelujah! Our God is marching on.

| Re: Today, I'm praising God for .... | | ... His continuous faithfulness, answering prayers old and new, often making something out of nothing
In heavenly love abiding, no change my heart shall fear. And safe in such confiding, for nothing changes here. The storm may roar without me, my heart may low be laid, But God is round about me, and can I be dismayed?
Wherever He may guide me, no want shall turn me back. My Shepherd is beside me, and nothing can I lack. His wisdom ever waking, His sight is never dim. He knows the way Hes taking, and I will walk with Him.
Green pastures are before me, which yet I have not seen. Bright skies will soon be over me, where darkest clouds have been. My hope I cannot measure, my path to life is free. My Savior has my treasure, and He will walk with me.

Dying with Jesus, by death reckoned mine; Living with Jesus, a new life divine; Looking to Jesus till glory doth shine, Moment by moment, O Lord, I am Thine.
Refrain Moment by moment Im kept in His love; Moment by moment Ive life from above; Looking to Jesus till glory doth shine; Moment by moment, O Lord, I am Thine.
Never a trial that He is not there, Never a burden that He doth not bear, Never a sorrow that He doth not share, Moment by moment, Im under His care.
Refrain
Never a heartache, and never a groan, Never a teardrop and never a moan; Never a danger but there on the throne, Moment by moment He thinks of His own.
Refrain
Never a weakness that He doth not feel, Never a sickness that He cannot heal; Moment by moment, in woe or in weal, Jesus my Savior, abides with me still.

1 Corinthians 11:4 - 6 Every man praying or prophesying, having his head covered, dishonors his head. But every woman who prays or prophesies with her head uncovered dishonors her head, for that is one and the same as if her head were shaved.
For if a woman is not covered, let her also be shorn. But if it is shameful for a woman to be shorn or shaved, let her be covered.

| Re: Today, I'm praising God for ... | | ... my being able to feel His Presence in my life
Lord of all being, thronèd afar, Thy glory flames from sun and star; Center and soul of every sphere, Yet to each loving heart how near!
Sun of our life, Thy quickening ray, Sheds on our path the glow of day; Star of our hope, Thy softened light Cheers the long watches of the night.
Our midnight is Thy smile withdrawn; Our noontide is Thy gracious dawn; Our rainbow arch, Thy mercys sign; All, save the clouds of sin, are Thine.
Lord of all life, below, above, Whose light is truth, Whose warmth is love, Before Thy ever blazing throne We ask no lustre of our own.
Grant us Thy truth to make us free, And kindling hearts that burn for Thee, Till all Thy living altars claim One holy light, one heavenly flame.

1 Corinthians 11:7 - 10 For a man indeed ought not to cover his head, since he is the image and glory of God; but woman is the glory of man.
For man is not from woman, but woman from man. Nor was man created for the woman, but woman for the man. For this reason the woman ought to have a symbol of authority on her head, because of the angels.
