Re:

David Wilkerson and other brethern that are Zealous and have a crave for Spiritual Truths and will not compromise on them.

The reason I'm so passionate for God is because of a brother in the Lord and his passion for Jesus, and he is a year younger than me.

Passion for Jesus spreads like a wildfire, when genuine.

... moving in mysterious ways, His wonders to perform!

Psalm 96

1 Oh, sing to the LORD a new song!
Sing to the LORD, all the earth.
2 Sing to the LORD, bless His name;
Proclaim the good news of His salvation from day to day.

3 Declare His glory among the nations,
His wonders among all peoples.
4 For the LORD is great and greatly to be praised;
He is to be feared above all gods.

5 For all the gods of the peoples are idols,
But the LORD made the heavens.

6 Honor and majesty are before Him;
Strength and beauty are in His sanctuary.

7 Give to the LORD, O families of the peoples,
Give to the LORD glory and strength.

8 Give to the LORD the glory due His name;
Bring an offering, and come into His courts.

9 Oh, worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness!
Tremble before Him, all the earth.

10 Say among the nations,

"The LORD reigns;
The world also is firmly established,
It shall not be moved;
He shall judge the peoples righteously."

11 Let the heavens rejoice, and let the earth be glad;
Let the sea roar, and all its fullness;
12 Let the field be joyful, and all that is in it.
Then all the trees of the woods will rejoice before the LORD.

13 For He is coming, for He is coming to judge the earth.
He shall judge the world with righteousness,
And the peoples with His truth.

 Re: Today, I'm praising God for...

I am praising God for real change in my innerman. Just over a year ago he set me free from a part of me that I greatly disliked. Last week he set me free from a heart grieving all consuming sin. It has been slow but sure. He has set me free from drugs, booze, and the party life, so many years ago. And those things I use to do are still dead. Now it is time to be free from all of "me"...and he has been faithful. Rejoice with me.

Rejoicing with you, sister. Praise the Lord!

Today, I'm praising God for being THE KING! And that by His Spirit, I can know His Kingship over things which used to to defeat me. Also for His love, which is reaching me with new understanding on my part. Thank you, Lord. :-)

The King of love my Shepherd is,
Whose goodness faileth never,
I nothing lack if I am His
And He is mine forever.

Where streams of living water flow
My ransomed soul He leadeth,
And where the verdant pastures grow,
With food celestial feedeth.

Perverse and foolish oft I strayed,
But yet in love He sought me,
And on His shoulder gently laid,
And home, rejoicing, brought me.

In death’s dark vale I fear no ill
With Thee, dear Lord, beside me;
Thy rod and staff my comfort still,
Thy cross before to guide me.

Thou spread’st a table in my sight;
Thy unction grace bestoweth;
And O what transport of delight
From Thy pure chalice floweth!

And so through all the length of days
Thy goodness faileth never;
Good Shepherd, may I sing Thy praise
Within Thy house forever.

 Re: Today, I'm praising God for ...

...the never-ending stream of reasons to praise HIM! :-)

O for a thousand tongues to sing
My great Redeemer’s praise,
The glories of my God and King,
The triumphs of His grace!

My gracious Master and my God,
Assist me to proclaim,
To spread through all the earth abroad
The honors of Thy name.

Jesus! the name that charms our fears,
That bids our sorrows cease;
’Tis music in the sinner’s ears,
’Tis life, and health, and peace.

He breaks the power of canceled sin,
He sets the prisoner free;
His blood can make the foulest clean,
His blood availed for me.

He speaks, and, listening to His voice,
New life the dead receive,
The mournful, broken hearts rejoice,
The humble poor believe.

Hear Him, ye deaf; His praise, ye dumb,
Your loosened tongues employ;
Ye blind, behold your Savior come,
And leap, ye lame, for joy.

Glory to God and praise and love
be now and ever given
by saints below and saints above
the Church in earth and heaven.

 Re: Today, I am Praising God for......

Today, I would like to praise God for the men from this forum and elsewhere who are giving of themselves to go out into the streets of cities to preach the gospel.
To care for the lost, after all that is why Jesus came, to seek and to save that which is lost.

Dorcas, a different version

Glory to the Lamb
Whose throne shall ever reign
God in the highest
Worthy to merit our praise

O for a thousand tongues to sing
Praises unto Thee
O for a thousand hands to raise
In honor to the King

We crown You with singing
Our lips shall utter Your praise
In humble adoration
In endless refrain

O for a thousand hands to raise
In honor to the King
O for a thousand hands to raise
In honor to the King
In honor to the King

Revelation 5:13
"Then I heard every creature in heaven and on earth and under the earth and on the sea, and all that is in them, singing: 'To him who sits on the throne and to the Lamb be praise and honor and glory and power, for ever and ever!'"

 Re:

Today I'm praising God because, When I could not go to where He was, He came to me.

The Gulf that seperated me
From Christ, My King.
Was so Vast the Crossing
I could never go.
From where I was to His Domain
It seemed so far
I cried, Dear Lord,
I cannot come to where you are.

He came to me,
He came to me,
When I could not go to where He was
He came to me.
That's why He died
On Calvary's Tree,
When I could not go to where He was,
He came to me.

Praise His Name Forever.

Nellie :-)

 Re: Today, I'm praising God for...

... liberty in Christ.

Out of my bondage, sorrow, and night,
Jesus, I come, Jesus, I come;
Into Thy freedom, gladness, and light,
Jesus, I come to Thee;
Out of my sickness, into Thy health,
Out of my want and into Thy wealth,
Out of my sin and into Thyself,
Jesus, I come to Thee.

Out of my shameful failure and loss,
Jesus, I come, Jesus, I come;
Into the glorious gain of Thy cross,
Jesus, I come to Thee.
Out of earth’s sorrows into Thy balm,
Out of life’s storms and into Thy calm,
Out of distress to jubilant psalm,
Jesus, I come to Thee.

Out of unrest and arrogant pride,
Jesus, I come, Jesus, I come;
Into Thy blessèd will to abide,
Jesus, I come to Thee.
Out of myself to dwell in Thy love,
Out of despair into raptures above,
Upward for aye on wings like a dove,
Jesus, I come to Thee.

Out of the fear and dread of the tomb,
Jesus, I come, Jesus, I come;
Into the joy and light of Thy throne,
Jesus, I come to Thee.
Out of the depths of ruin untold,
Into the peace of Thy sheltering fold,
Ever Thy glorious face to behold,
Jesus, I come to Thee.

 Re: Today, I'm praising God for...

…the wonder that He is!
…the fruit that come from a living in His righteousness.
…the joy of knowing that I am in fellowship with the eternal God!

"Joy unspeakable and full of glory" (1Pe 1:8)
A Christian's joy is full of glory. A Christian's joy cannot be measured through words!–(adapted from Johnathan Edwards)

…to have found grace and to know that I'm loved by God!
Halelujah!
