Tell out, my soul, the greatness of the Lord! Unnumbered blessings give my spirit voice; Tender to me the promise of His Word; In God my Savior shall my heart rejoice.
Tell out, my soul, the greatness of His Name! Make known His might, the deeds His arm has done; His mercy sure, from age to age the same; His holy Name, the Lord, the mighty One.
Tell out, my soul, the greatness of His might! Powers and dominions lay their glory by; Proud hearts and stubborn wills are put to flight; The hungry fed, the humble lifted high.
Tell out, my soul, the glories of His Word! Firm is His promise, and His mercy sure. Tell out my soul, the greatness of the Lord To childrens children and forevermore!

[To beenblake - thank you.
I never usually add comment in this thread, so as not to detract from attention to the Lord, but, I had just decided to post the following hymn, when I opened the thread to your post, and burst out laughing at the instancy of His Spirit which makes us one in Christ.
May you also be blessed with a rich knowledge of His peace as you press on to serve Him wholeheartedly.]
The King of love my Shepherd is, Whose goodness faileth never, I nothing lack if I am His And He is mine forever.
Where streams of living water flow My ransomed soul He leadeth, And where the verdant pastures grow, With food celestial feedeth.
Perverse and foolish oft I strayed, But yet in love He sought me, And on His shoulder gently laid, And home, rejoicing, brought me.
In deaths dark vale I fear no ill With Thee, dear Lord, beside me; Thy rod and staff my comfort still, Thy cross before to guide me.
Thou spreadst a table in my sight; Thy unction grace bestoweth; And O what transport of delight From Thy pure chalice floweth!
And so through all the length of days Thy goodness faileth never; Good Shepherd, may I sing Thy praise Within Thy house forever.

Open my eyes, that I may see Glimpses of truth Thou hast for me; Place in my hands the wonderful key That shall unclasp and set me free.
Refrain
Silently now I wait for Thee, Ready my God, Thy will to see, Open my eyes, illumine me, Spirit divine!
Open my ears, that I may hear Voices of truth Thou sendest clear; And while the wave notes fall on my ear, Everything false will disappear.
Refrain
Open my mouth, and let me bear, Gladly the warm truth everywhere; Open my heart and let me prepare Love with Thy children thus to share.

Infinite excellence Is Thine Thou lovely Prince of grace! Thy uncreated beauties shine With never-fading rays.
Sinners from earths remotest end Come bending at Thy feet; To Thee their prayers and vows ascend; In Thee their wishes meet.
Thy Name as precious ointment shed, Delights the church around; Sweetly the sacred odor spreads Through all Immanuels ground.
Millions of happy spirits live On Thy exhaustless store; From Thee they all their bliss receive, And still Thou givest more.
Thou are their triumph and their joy, They find their all in Thee; Thy glories will their tongues employ To all eternity.

My faith looks up to Thee, Thou Lamb of Calvary, Savior divine! Now hear me while I pray, take all my guilt away, O let me from this day be wholly Thine!
May Thy rich grace impart Strength to my fainting heart, my zeal inspire! As Thou hast died for me, O may my love to Thee, Pure warm, and changeless be, a living fire!
While lifes dark maze I tread, And griefs around me spread, be Thou my Guide; Bid darkness turn to day, wipe sorrows tears away, Nor let me ever stray from Thee aside.
When ends lifes transient dream, When deaths cold sullen stream over me roll; Blest Savior, then in love, fear and distrust remove; O bear me safe above, a ransomed soul!

| Re: Today, I'm praising God for ... | | ... holding us close when 'things' fall apart and when our 3D grid of reference changes (radically)
O what a wonderful, wonderful day - day I will never forget; After I'd wandered in darkness away, Jesus my Saviour I met. O what a tender, compassionate friend - He met the need of my heart; Shadows dispelling, With joy I am telling, He made all the darkness depart.
Chorus Heaven came down and glory filled my soul, When at the cross the Saviour made me whole; My sins were washed away - And my night was turned to day - Heaven came down and glory filled my soul!
Born of the Spirit with life from above into God's fam'ly divine, Justified fully thru Calvary's love, O what a standing is mine! And the transaction so quickly was made when as a sinner I came, Took of the offer of grace He did proffer - He saved me, O praise His dear name!
Chorus
Now I've a hope that will surely endure after the passing of time; I have a future in heaven for sure, there in those mansions sublime. And it's because of that wonderful day when at the cross I believed; Riches eternal and blessings supernal from His precious hand I received.
Chorus
