Re: Today, I'm praising God for...

... speaking to me again so clearly, so perfectly in continuity with all that is on my heart, I am lost in wonder, love and praise, and deeply at peace. Hallelujah!

O Thou Who camest from above,
The pure celestial fire to impart,
Kindle a flame of sacred love
Upon the mean altar of my heart.

There let it for Thy glory burn
With inextinguishable blaze,
And trembling to its source return,
In humble prayer and fervent praise.

Jesus, confirm my heart’s desire
To work and speak and think for Thee;
Still let me guard the holy fire,
And still stir up Thy gift in me.

Ready for all Thy perfect will,
My acts of faith and love repeat,
Till death Thy endless mercies seal,
And make my sacrifice complete.

Acts 19

8 And he [Paul] went into the synagogue, and spake boldly for the space of three months, disputing and persuading the things concerning the kingdom of God.

9 But when divers were hardened, and believed not, but spake evil of that way before the multitude, he departed from them, and separated the disciples, disputing daily in the school of one Tyrannus.
10 And this continued by the space of two years; so that all they which dwelt in Asia heard the word of the Lord Jesus, both Jews and Greeks.

11 And God wrought special miracles by the hands of Paul:
12 so that from his body were brought unto the sick handkerchiefs or aprons, and the diseases departed from them, and the evil spirits went out of them....

18 And many that believed came, and confessed, and shewed their deeds.
19 Many of them also which used curious arts brought their books together, and burned them before all men: and they counted the price of them, and found fifty thousand pieces of silver.

20 So mightily grew the word of God and prevailed.

 Re: Today, I'm praising God for ...

... for sustaining me, encouraging my heart with hope, enjoyment and laughter, and helping me to lay hold of the Life which He died to bring into my reach. Amen Lord! You are THE King! Hallelujah!

(KJV) Luke 23

34 Then said Jesus,

'Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do.'

And they parted his raiment, and cast lots.

35 And the people stood beholding. And the rulers also with them derided him, saying,

'He saved others; let him save himself, if he be Christ, the chosen of God.'

36 And the soldiers also mocked him, coming to him, and offering him vinegar, 37 and saying,

'If thou be the king of the Jews, save thyself.'

38 And a superscription also was written over him in letters of Greek, and Latin, and Hebrew, THIS IS THE KING OF THE JEWS.

39 And one of the malefactors which were hanged railed on him, saying,

'If thou be Christ, save thyself and us.'

40 But the other answering rebuked him, saying,

'Dost not thou fear God, seeing thou art in the same condemnation?

41 And we indeed justly; for we receive the due reward of our deeds: but this man hath done nothing amiss.'

42 And he said unto Jesus,

'Lord, remember me when thou comest into thy kingdom.'

43 And Jesus said unto him,

'Verily I say unto thee, today shalt thou be with me in paradise.'

44 And it was about the sixth hour, and there was a darkness over all the earth until the ninth hour. 45 And the sun was darkened, and the veil of the temple was rent in the midst.

46 And when Jesus had cried with a loud voice, he said,

'Father, into thy hands I commend my spirit':

and having said thus, he gave up the ghost.

47 Now when the centurion saw what was done, he glorified God, saying,

'Certainly this was a righteous man.'

Spirit of faith, come down,
Reveal the things of God;
And make to us the Godhead known,
And witness with the blood:
'Tis thine the blood to apply,
And give us eyes to see,
Who did for every sinner die,
Hath surely died for me.

No man can truly say
That Jesus is the Lord,
Unless thou take the veil away,
And breathe the living word;
Then, only then, we feel
Our interest in his blood,
And cry, with joy unspeakable,
"Thou art my Lord, my God!"

I know my Saviour lives,
He lives, who died for me,
My inmost soul His voice receives
Who hangs on yonder tree,
Set forth before my eyes,
Even now I see Him bleed,
And hear His mortal groans, and cries,
While suffering in my stead.

O that the world might know
The all-atoning Lamb!
Spirit of faith, descend, and show
The virtue of his name;
The grace which all may find,
The saving power impart;
And testify to all mankind,
And speak in every heart.

Inspire the living faith,
Which whosoe'er receives,
The witness in himself he hath,
And consciously believes;
The faith that conquers all,
And doth the mountain move,
And saves whoe'er on Jesus call,
And perfects them in love.

2 Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.

3 For consider him that endured such contradiction of sinners against himself, lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds.

4 Ye have not yet resisted unto blood, striving against sin.

 Re: Today, I'm praising God for...

... giving me more peace and having made me vulnerable to His will, whatever that may be, as I press forward in Him.

With glorious clouds encompassed round,
Whom angels dimly see,
Will the Unsearchable be found,
Or God appear to me?

Will He forsake His throne above,
Himself to worms impart?
Answer Thou Man of grief and love,
And speak into my heart.

In manifested love explain
Thy wonderful design,
What meant the suffering Son of man,
The streaming blood Divine?

Didst Thou not in our flesh appear,
And live and die below,
That I may now perceive Thee near,
And my Redeemer know?

Come then, and to my soul reveal
The heights and depths of grace,
Those wounds which all my sorrows heal,
That dear disfigured face.

Before my eyes of faith confessed
Stand forth a slaughtered Lamb,
And wrap me in the Thy crimson vest,
And tell me all Thy name.

Jehovah in Thy person show,
Jehovah crucified,
And then the pardoning God I know,
And feel the blood applied;

I view the Lamb in His own light,
Whom angels dimly see
And gaze, transported at the sight,
Through all eternity.

Revelation 4
1 After this I looked, and, behold, a door opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter.
2 And immediately I was in the spirit:

... a different sort of day, with a new liberty, as if something has changed in the heavenlies with regard to my life, for ever.

I worship thee, sweet Will of God,
And all Thy ways adore,
And every day I live, I long
To love Thee more and more.

I have no cares, O blessed Will,
For all my cares are Thine,
I live in triumph, Lord, for Thou,
Hast made Thy triumphs mine.

Ride on, ride on triumphantly,
Thou glorious Will, ride on!
Faith's pilgrim sons, behind Thee take
The road that Thou has gone.

He always wins who sides with God,
To him no chance is lost,
God's will is sweetest to him when
It triumphs at his cost.

Ill that He blesses is our good,
And unblest good is ill,
And all is right, that seems most wrong,
If it be His sweet Will.

 Re: Today, I'm praising God for ...

...His most practical help in time of need.

Jesu, Thy boundless love to me
No thought can reach, no tongue declare:
O, knit my thankful heart to Thee,
And reign without a rival there,
Thine wholly, Thine alone I am:
Be Thou alone my constant flame.

O grant that nothing in my soul
May dwell, but Thy pure love alone;
O, may Thy love possess me whole,
My joy, my treasure and my crown,
Strange fires far from my soul remove,
My every act, word, thought, be love.

O Love, how cheering is Thy ray!
All pain before thy presence flies;
Care, anguish, sorrow, melt away
Where'er Thy healing beams arise;
O Jesu, nothing may I see,
Nothing hear, feel, or think but Thee!

My Saviour, Thou Thy love to me
In want, in pain, in shame, hast showed,
For me on the accursed tree
Thou pouredst forth Thy guiltless blood;
Thy wounds upon my heart impress,
Nor aught shall the loved stamp efface.

O that I as a little child
May follow Thee, nor ever rest
Till sweetly, Thou hast poured Thy mild
And lowly mind into my breast.
Nor may we ever parted be
Till I become one spirit with Thee.

What in Thy love possess I not?
My Star by night, my Sun by day;
My Spring of Life when parched with drought,
My Wine to cheer, my Bread to stay,
My Strength, my Shield, my safe Abode,
My robe before the throne of God!

Unwearied may I this pursue,
Dauntless to the high prize aspire;
Hourly within my breast renew
This holy flame, this heavenly fire;
And day and night be all my care
To guard this sacred treasure there.

Matthew 21:14, 22

And the blind and the lame came to him in the temple; and he healed them.

And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.

Malachi 4
1 For, behold, the day cometh, that shall burn as an oven; and all the proud, yea, and all that do wickedly, shall be stubble: and the day that cometh shall burn them up, saith the LORD of hosts, that it shall leave them neither root nor branch.

2 But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings; and ye shall go forth, and grow up as calves of the stall. (KJV)

...His most practical help in time of need.

For several years friends of our family kept experiencing set back after set back untill finally they recently lost their home and the equity in it. Some people just seem to get rained on more then usual in certain seasons...maybe somone reading this knows what I mean. Though sad at times, they never succumbed to cynicism or bitterness. Earlier this year the husband finally secured a decent job. This week several people in their church banded together and helped them get back into a modest home. In addition various contractors in the church got the electricity, plumbing, and interior in shape...

They and their children should be moving in before Christmas.

Praise God for His people, for the Church.

I will incline my ear to a proverb
and set forth my riddle upon the harp.
Why should I be afraid in evil days,
when the wickedness of those at my heels surrounds me,
The wickedness of those who put their trust in their goods,
and boast of their great riches?
We can never ransom ourselves,
or deliver to God the price of our life;
For the ransom of our life is so great,
that we should never have enough to pay it,

 Re: Today, I'm praising God for...

... a great many small things accomplished, and grace from on High for two difficult things. Lord, thank you! :-)

Thee will I love, my strength, my tower;
Thee will I love, my joy, my crown;
Thee will I love with all my power,
In all my works, and thee alone!
Thee will I love, till Thy pure fire
Fill my whole soul with chaste desire.

Ah! Why did I so late Thee know,
Thee, lovelier than the sons of men?
Ah! Why did I no sooner go
To Thee, the only ease in pain?
Ashamed, I sigh and inly mourn
That I so late to Thee did turn!

In darkness willingly I strayed:
I sought Thee, yet from Thee I roved,
For wide my wandering thoughts were spread;
Thy creatures more than Thee I loved;
And now, if more at length I see,
‘Tis through Thy light, and comes from Thee.

I thank Thee, Uncreated Sun,
That Thy bright beams on me have shined;
I thank Thee, who has overthrown
My foes, and healed my wounded mind;
I thank Thee, whose enlivening voice
Bids my freed heart, in Thee, rejoice.

Uphold me in the doubtful race,
Nor suffer me again to stray;
Strengthen my feet with steady pace,
Still to press forward in Thy way;
My soul and flesh, O Lord of Might,
Fill, satiate with Thy heavenly light.

Give to my eyes refreshing tears;
Give to my heart chaste, hallowed fires;
Give to my soul, with filial fears,
The love that all heaven’s host inspires;
“That all my powers with all their might
In Thy sole glory may unite.”

Thee will I love, my joy, my crown!
Thee will I love, my Lord ,my God!
Thee will I love, beneath Thy frown
Or smile, Thy sceptre or Thy rod.
What though my flesh and heart decay?
Thee shall I love in endless day!

... His faithfulness; His word which speaks faith into my being as I believe Him; His word which speaks faith into your being, as you believe Him; His word which created the heavens and the earth and all that is in them; His Word, by whom and for whom and in whom all things consist. Hallelujah, Lord! May Your Name be magnified in the earth.

(Metrical) Psalm 93

1 The Lord doth reign, and clothed is he
with majesty most bright;
His works do show him clothed to be,
and girt about with might.

The world is also stablishèd,
that it cannot depart.
2 Thy throne is fixed of old, and thou
from everlasting art.

3 The floods, O Lord, have lifted up,
they lifted up their voice;
The floods have lifted up their waves,
and made a mighty noise.

4 But yet the Lord, that is on high,
is more of might by far
Than noise of many waters is,
or great sea-billows are.

5 Thy testimonies ev'ry one
in faithfulness excel;
And holiness for ever, Lord,
thine house becometh well.

16 For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: 17 and he is before all things, and by him all things consist.

18 And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all he might have the preeminence. 19 For it pleased the Father that in him should all fulness dwell; 20 and, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself; by him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven.

21 And you, that were sometime alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now hath he reconciled 22 in the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and unblameable and unreproveable in his sight: 23 if ye continue in the faith grounded and settled, and not moved away from the hope of the gospel, which ye have heard..'

I am praising God, for His revelation of Truth in my Life.

My name has been cleared as in my Health and labels put on me because of my Ex Husbands lies. Told to Doctors over a period of time, this being to make them think, I was you know, not with it.

A tribunal has removed all the labels. Amen, Hallelujah, Praise is to you! Oh God! Mighty in the Heavens above and mighty over you’re people.

Glory to you in the Highest. I look forward Almighty God to your power in my life and the exposing of mine and others enemies. You are my Help you are my Hope in all my life.
Glory to you Holy and most Worthy God, Amen.
