| Re: Today, I'm praising God for... | | ... His grace, in giving me good works to walk in and for fellowship with other believers whose day has offered greater challenges than mine. And for those who pray for me, when I'm stuck.
Sing to the Lord a joyful song, Lift up your hearts, your voices raise, To us His gracious gifts belong, To Him our songs of love and praise.
For life and love, for rest and food, For daily help and nightly care, Sing to the Lord, for He is good And praise His Name, for it is fair.
For strength to those who on Him wait, His truth to prove, His will to do, Praise ye our God, for He is great, Trust in His Name, for it is true.
For joys untold, that from above, Cheer those who love His sweet employ, Sing to our God, for He is love, Exalt his Name, for it is joy.

For if these things be in you, [Must read vv 2 - 7 for 'these things'] and abound, they make you neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. But he that lacketh these things is blind, and cannot see afar off, and hath forgotten that he was purged from his old sins. Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall: for so an entrance shall be ministered unto you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Blest be the dear uniting love, That will not let us part! Our bodies may far off remove, We still are one in heart.
Joined in one spirit to our Head, Where He appoints we go; And still in Jesus footsteps tread, And show His praise below.
O may we ever walk in Him, And nothing know beside; Nothing desire, nothing esteem, But Jesus crucified.
Closer and closer let us cleave To His beloved embrace; Expect His fullness to receive And grace to answer grace.
While thus we walk with Christ in light Who shall our souls disjoin, Souls, which Himself vouchsafes tunite In fellowship divine!
We all are one who Him receive, And each with each agree; In Him the One, the Truth, we live, Blest point of unity!
Partakers of the Saviors grace, The same in mind and heart, Nor joy, nor grief, nor time, nor place, Nor life, nor death can part.
But let us hasten to the day Which shall our flesh restore, When death shall all be done away, And bodies part no more!

'Call upon you, then, do I--the prisoner of the Lord--to walk worthily of the calling with which ye were called, with all lowliness and meekness, with long-suffering, forbearing one another in love, being diligent to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of the peace; one body and one Spirit, according as also ye were called in one hope of your calling; one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all, who is over all, and through all, and in you all, and to each one of you was given the grace, according to the measure of the gift of Christ...' Psalm 104:33, 34 I will sing unto the LORD as long as I live: I will sing praise to my God while I have my being. My meditation of him shall be sweet: I will be glad in the LORD. (KJV)
Tell out, my soul, the greatness of the Lord! Unnumbered blessings give my spirit voice; Tender to me the promise of His word; In God my Savior shall my heart rejoice.
Tell out, my soul, the greatness of His Name! Make known His might, the deeds His arm has done; His mercy sure, from age to age to same; His holy Name - the Lord, the Mighty One.
Tell out, my soul, the greatness of His might! Powers and dominions lay their glory by. Proud hearts and stubborn wills are put to flight, The hungry fed, the humble lifted high.
Tell out, my soul, the glories of His word! Firm is His promise, and His mercy sure. Tell out, my soul, the greatness of the Lord To children's children and for evermore!

Father God, I wonder how I managed to exist without the knowledge of Your parenthood and Your loving care. But now I am Your son, I am adopted in Your family, and I can never be alone cause, Father God, Youre there beside me. I will sing Your praises, I will sing Your praises, I will sing Your praises for evermore.

Matthew 10:5 - 20 (KJV)
These twelve Jesus sent forth, and commanded them, saying, Go not into the way of the Gentiles, and into any city of the Samaritans enter ye not: but go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.
And as ye go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand.
Heal the sick,
cleanse the lepers,
raise the dead,
cast out devils:
freely ye have received, freely give.
Provide neither gold, nor silver, nor brass in your purses, nor scrip for your journey, neither two coats, neither shoes, nor yet staves: for the workman is worthy of his meat.
And into whatsoever city or town ye shall enter, enquire who in it is worthy; and there abide till ye go thence. And when ye come into an house, salute it. And if the house be worthy, let your peace come upon it: but if it be not worthy, let your peace return to you. And whosoever shall not receive you, nor hear your words, when ye depart out of that house or city, shake off the dust of your feet. Verily I say unto you, it shall be more tolerable for the land of Sodom and Gomorrha in the day of judgment, than for that city.
Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves.
But beware of men for they will deliver you up to the councils, and they will scourge you in their synagogues; and ye shall be brought before governors and kings for my sake, for a testimony against them and the Gentiles. But when they deliver you up, take no thought how or what ye shall speak: for it shall be given you in that same hour what ye shall speak. For it is not ye that speak, but the Spirit of your Father which speaketh in you.

| Re: Today, I'm praising God for ... | | ... the love and encouragement between saints, for being able to exhort one another while it is today, that we may believe into the fulness of salvation which God has ordained us to enjoy. :-)
Be still, my soul: the Lord is on thy side. Bear patiently the cross of grief or pain. Leave to thy God to order and provide; In every change, He faithful will remain. Be still, my soul: thy best, thy heavenly Friend Through thorny ways leads to a joyful end.
Be still, my soul: thy God doth undertake To guide the future, as He has the past. Thy hope, thy confidence let nothing shake; All now mysterious shall be bright at last. Be still, my soul: the waves and winds still know His voice Who ruled them while He dwelt below.
Be still, my soul: when dearest friends depart, And all is darkened in the vale of tears, Then shalt thou better know His love, His heart, Who comes to soothe thy sorrow and thy fears. Be still, my soul: thy Jesus can repay From His own fullness all He takes away.
Be still, my soul: the hour is hastening on When we shall be forever with the Lord. When disappointment, grief and fear are gone, Sorrow forgot, loves purest joys restored. Be still, my soul: when change and tears are past All safe and blessèd we shall meet at last.
Be still, my soul: begin the song of praise On earth, be leaving, to Thy Lord on high; Acknowledge Him in all thy words and ways, So shall He view thee with a well pleased eye. Be still, my soul: the Sun of life divine Through passing clouds shall but more brightly shine.

Then they that feared the LORD spake often one to another: and the LORD hearkened, and heard, and a book of remembrance was written before him for them that feared the LORD, and that thought upon his name. And they shall be mine, saith the LORD of hosts, in that day when I make up my jewels; and I will spare them, as a man spareth his own son that serveth him. Then shall ye return, and discern between the righteous and the wicked, between him that serveth God and him that serveth him not. {jewels: or, special treasure} Malachi 3:16 -18 (KJV)

Great is Thy faithfulness, O God my Father, There is no shadow of turning with Thee; Thou changest not, Thy compassions they fail not, As thou hast been Thou for ever wilt be. Great is Thy faithfulness, Great is Thy faithfulness; Morning by morning New mercies I see; All I have needed Thy hand hath provided, - Great is Thy faithfulness, Lord unto me.
Summer and winter, and spring-time and harvest, Sun, moon and stars in their courses above, Join with all nature in manifold witness To Thy great faithfulness, mercy and love. Great is Thy faithfulness....
Pardon for sin, and a peace that endureth, Thine own dear presence to cheer and to guide; Strength for today and bright hope for tomorrow, Blessings all mine, with ten thousand beside! Great is Thy faithfulness....

'..now unto the principalities and powers in heavenly places might be known by the church the manifold wisdom of God, according to the eternal purpose which he purposed in Christ Jesus our Lord: in whom we have boldness and access with confidence by the faith of him.... that he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man; that Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all saints what the breadth, and length, and depth, and height; and to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.
Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, unto him glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen.

36 For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise. 37 For yet a little while, and he that shall come will come, and will not tarry. 38 Now the just shall live by faith: but if {any man} draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him. 39 But we are not of them who draw back unto perdition; but of them that believe to the saving of the soul. Hebrews 10 (KJV)
Behold! the mountain of the Lord In latter days shall rise On mountain tops above the hills, And draw the wondering eyes.
To this the joyful nations round, All tribes and tongues, shall flow; Up to the hill of God, theyll say, And to His house well go.
The beam that shines from Zion hill Shall lighten every land; The King Who reigns in Salems towers Shall all the world command.
Among the nations He shall judge; His judgments truth shall guide; His scepter shall protect the just, And quell the sinners pride.
No strife shall rage, nor hostile feuds disturb those peaceful years; to ploughshares men shall beat their swords, to pruning-hooks their spears.
No longer hosts, encountering hosts, shall crowds of slain deplore; they hang the trumpet in the hall, and study war no more.
Come then, O house of Jacob! come to worship at his shrine; and, walking in the light of God, with holy beauties shine.

Im not ashamed to own my Lord, Or to defend His cause; Maintain the honor of His Word, The glory of His cross.
Jesus, my God! I know His Name, His Name is all my trust; Nor will He put my soul to shame, Nor let my hope be lost.
Firm as His throne His promise stands, And He can well secure What Ive committed to His hands Till the decisive hour.
Then will He own my worthless name Before His Fathers face, And in the new Jerusalem Appoint my soul a place.

Matthew 10 31 Fear ye not therefore, ye are of more value than many sparrows. 32 Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven. 33 But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven.
Now when John had heard in the prison the works of Christ, he sent two of his disciples, and said unto him, 'Art thou he that should come, or do we look for another?' Jesus answered and said unto them, 'Go and shew John again those things which ye do hear and see: the blind receive their sight, and the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, and the deaf hear, the dead are raised up, and the poor have the gospel preached to them. And blessed is whosoever shall not be offended in me.' Matthew 11:2 - 6 (KJV)
Matthew 12 36 But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment. 37 For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned.

| Re: Today, I'm praising God for... | | ...walking me through several diverse situations which show His life has changed mine forever. Thank you, Lord, for taking and holding my hand. Amen.
1. Come, we that love the Lord, and let our joys be known; join in a song with sweet accord, join in a song with sweet accord and thus surround the throne, and thus surround the throne.
Refrain: We're marching to Zion, beautiful, beautiful Zion; we're marching upward to Zion, the beautiful city of God.
2. Let those refuse to sing who never knew our God; but children of the heavenly King, but children of the heavenly King may speak their joys abroad, may speak their joys abroad. Refrain
3. The hill of Zion yields a thousand sacred sweets before we reach the heavenly fields, before we reach the heavenly fields, or walk the golden streets, or walk the golden streets. Refrain
4. Then let our songs abound, and every tear be dry; we're marching through Emmanuel's ground, we're marching through Emmanuel's ground, to fairer worlds on high, to fairer worlds on high.
Refrain
(Choose piano, organ or bells.) http://www.hymnsite.com/lyrics/umh733.sht
What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin that grace may abound? Certainly not! How shall we who died to sin live any longer in it? Or do you not know that as many of us as were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into His death?
Therefore we were buried with Him through baptism into death, that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.

Jesus Christ, whose compassion for sick people compelled Him to heal multitudes of them, time after time after time, to raise the dead and finally to be victorious over the power of death, that He might send us (believers) His Spirit, that we may be filled with His fulness.
1. Jesus, keep me near the cross; There a precious fountain, Free to all, a healing stream, Flows from Calvary's mountain.
Refrain: In the cross, in the cross, Be my glory ever, Till my raptured soul shall find Rest beyond the river.
2. Near the cross, a trembling soul, Love and mercy found me; There the bright and morning star Sheds its beams around me. Refrain
3. Near the cross! O Lamb of God, Bring its scenes before me; Help me walk from day to day With its shadow o'er me.
Refrain
4. Near the cross I'll watch and wait, Hoping, trusting ever, Till I reach the golden strand Just beyond the river. Refrain

Mark 2 5 When Jesus saw their faith, he said unto the sick of the palsy, Son, thy sins be forgiven thee. 6 But there were certain of the scribes sitting there, and reasoning in their hearts, 7 Why doth this man thus speak blasphemies? who can forgive sins but God only? 8 And immediately when Jesus perceived in his spirit that they so reasoned within themselves, he said unto them, Why reason ye these things in your hearts?
Mark 3 20 And the multitude cometh together again, so that they could not so much as eat bread. 21 And when his friends heard, they went out to lay hold on him: for they said, He is beside himself.
