How Much Do You Know About Catholicism and the Pope's Agenda?

Should the Pope be invited to address the U.S. Congress?

Why?

Why Not?

 Re:

Catholicism is a "Cain" religion, i.e. works righteousness, and the pope is the head of this system. Why any christian would compromise and give any kind of approval to the pope blows my mind.

The Pope is chasing a myth.

The Catholic church should sell off their riches and feed and clothe the poor.

Okay, we know that is not going to happen.

"Just about everyone on the planet who is exposed to mainstream news reports is aware that the Pope has aligned himself with the world’s Marxists by saying that global poverty and injustice are the result of capitalism.

However, true capitalism has not existed anywhere in the world for almost a hundred years. Where it once existed, such as the United States, it was quietly and systematically strangled to death by thousands of laws that spoke of social reform, stabilizing the economy, protecting the weak, redistributing wealth, sharing resources, providing social services, welfare, and the greater good for the greater number.

We are told that we live in a capitalist system, but nothing could be further from the truth. We now live in a collectivist system that is almost indistinguishable from the theoretical models for fascism, socialism, and communism. The capitalist shell remains, but it is empty.

FREE-MARKET CAPITALISM VS. MONOPOLY CAPITALISM

Classical capitalism includes the concept of a free-market, controlled by government only to the extent necessary to insure that agreements are honored. What we have now is what might be called monopoly capitalism in which almost all aspects of the market are controlled by government and in which favored players in the game (those that generously fund political campaigns) obtain government-backed monopolies and, thereby, are protected from competition. However, to call that a form of capitalism is also a trick, because it pulls attention away from the fact that monopoly is the normal condition in all collectivist systems, including socialism, communism, and fascism.

Those who are calling for more government control over the economy and over all human activity in the name of fighting poverty are merely demanding more of the same poison that created the illness in the first place.

This is the cruel trick being played on the rank-and-file Leftists who fill the streets and the ballot boxes, but who at the top is orchestrating this trick? Are all Leftist leaders merely ignorant or misinformed, or are there a few masterminds who know full well what they are doing?

There is no doubt that most politicians are fully aware that “evil capitalism” is a modern myth, but it is a useful myth for their purposes. The question of the day, however, is: in which category does the Pope belong?

It’s a good thing that we do not know the answer to that question, because then we would have to defend our position, which could lead to an acrimonious division within our ranks. Fortunately, it makes no difference if the Pope is simply naive or if he sees himself as a global social engineer. Either way, those of us who know the truth must put all question of religion aside. We must step forward to proclaim that he is chasing a myth and that the consequences of following him in this regard will be devastating to the very people he professes to defend."

This, from an unsaved man who does not know the real agenda of the Vatican (or maybe he does).

"THE POPE, THE SELF-PROCLAIMED “VICAR OF CHRIST”, PREACHING A MESSAGE OF THE FAILURE OF JESUS ON THE CROSS..."

I have only just discovered this, saw it first on Kjos Ministries.

You can also find some youtube clips.

The world is becoming more and more anti Christ and therefore anti Christian (as in true Discipels.)

 Re:

Hi All

Just wanted to know if anyone else has seen the same pattern of fruit from Catholicism as i am seeing. i was brought up as a Catholic, my aunties and cousins where arrested and imprisoned for their protests on abortion in New Zealand in the 80's and are pretty full on in their beliefs.

I have noticed that the women rule the household and can be very vindictive if opposed. My wife's family are very strong Catholics and they are always interfering in our marriage and are very critical of our faith. they like to be seen as a good christian family with high morals but behind closed doors its a different. Secrecy seems to be a major fruit. I cant say this for all Catholics but its what i have experienced in my circles.

 Re:

Karl-

In general I agree with your observation. My wife grew up in a strong Catholic home- catholic school etc. Then she met me and it wasn't too long before she was on her knees REALLY giving her life to Christ, thank the Lord.

Her mother and father were more accepting of her "change" than her aunts and uncles, who sort of viewed her as a traitor. "Born again" was a dirty word to them. I believe that her mother, by the time she died, had entered into true faith because of our influence on her, even though she did not cast off 80 years of Catholic tradition.

My personal belief is that their attitude was due to internal conviction that they were trying to repress; just like the Sanhedrin's response to Jesus.

Catholics are very defensive of their Catholicism.

Hi crusader,

I would agree that Catholicism does promote matriarchy and this was pretty evident in my family and many that I have observed over the years. Mostly, it is the women that go to church and the men go once in awhile (Christmas, Easter, special occasions such as 1st communion, confirmation, etc). The RCC promotes Mary for this very reason as she appeals to the women. There is a spirit of control that accompanies matriarchal households and I have even seen the matriarchal behavior in patriarchal households. In fact, matriarchy thrives in patriarchal households, Catholic and non-catholic, alike.

You have to understand how the Catholic Church grows. It grows mainly through physical births and when a baby is baptized it has an "indelible mark on its soul" that makes it a member of the Catholic Church. So, women are very strongly influenced to baptize their babies and bring them up in the Catholic faith or else their eternal destination may be in jeopardy. Lots of fear based preaching. The whole religion is works based and any religion based on works has an undercurrent of fear. They go hand in hand. Fear of never measuring up, or doing enough.

When I got married we did not live close to any of my family which I think was a GOOD thing. They separated from me after I came to Christ, and through the years, some hearts have softened while others have hardened and I am on speaking terms with the "soft" ones. I married a non former-Catholic and though my family loves my wife (lot of fruit) they don't know how to interact with her because she just does not have the same behavioral traits or interests. My sisters have always been pleasant to my wife although they do not get along with each other or their mother. All three sisters are very matriarchal and like they say, "there can only be one queen bee". You know how strong this matriarchal spirit is, so I am not telling you anything new. I think they are the way they are because of the spirit of fear which brings a lot of insecurity. And they act out their fear and insecurity by trying to control their situations and people. Very materialistic, too which also goes along with insecurity. The Catholic faith brings no assurance of salvation even though it is drilled into our heads early on that we (the RCC) are the true Church on earth. Like they say, if you are told a lie over and over, eventually you believe it as truth.

I edited out some personal reflections about my sisters because I just think those behaviors run the gamut of all unsaved people.
