I do wish you would reply to my post it was at the beginning of the thread. I hope I did not offend you with my question, it was not my intention to do so. In my prayers I pray for everyone here on SI often and it seems by your threads this is been on your heart so I wonder who it is who is saying all these things to you? If it is those you fellowship with in life perhaps it is time to find new fellowship?? I will be praying for you...don't let what others around you say cause you confusion GOD does love the lost Jews in the world just as much as HE loves you and I and HE wishes that none would parish. Of course GOD wants us to pray for one another and for the lost so we should be seeking to follow the leading HE gives us each day and places on our hearts. I know many who pray for the body of CHRIST as well as for those who are lost in the world today and I believe FATHER hears our prayers. Just pray for those who seem to be saying to you that you must choose one over the other and cling to HIS heart...pray for both lost Jew and Gentile so that JESUS might have HIS reward!!

Bearmaster, thank you SO much for posting this much needed topic on Israel and the persecuted Church. I sat through Timothy Gill's online training pertaining to the Persecuted Church and I was amazed at how out of touch I was with the infirmities of my brothers and sisters serving in the 10/40 window. I have been reading all the other SI members who are responding to your post, but I am still praying and seeking the Lord to know how and if to respond. Only Scriptures come to mind and I am opening to the Lord teaching me.

BTW, I am reading "The Holocaust: Where was God," by Art Katz and he covers some of the history of God's judgment on the Jews and how God's mercy triumphs over judgment. A sobering read.

Their is an agenda here,their is a growing structure too called "the persecuted church" a term not used in the bible.
It is a by product of believing a living through the tribulation,no end times revival,their is only going to be a few of us real christians prepared type Christian view.
It is also a reaction to the blab it and grab it toronto,kansas prophet type movements.
At the moment we are saying things like
"Yet many professing believers sit content in tbeir comfortable American Christianity thinking this is New Testament."
The next step will be to say "well they are not really christian at all"
We are making two classes of Christians that makes it devisive.Your blaming western Christians for not living in north korea,ethopia etc.
If their wasnt an agenda we would term things differently
but the fact that we cant get away from the term "the persecuted church" makes it suspicous.

Sister sorry I did not respond immediately to your post. I have been on prayer initiatives and conference calls that have come out and said that Israel was tbe center of redemptive history. These believers have said Israel is God's prophetic time clock. Everything hinges and centers on Israel.

No one in tbe forum has implied this. But this being a group of diverse people we may have some people who are Messianic or Zionist in tbeir thinking. That is why I opened up these threads.

Brother I have heard this teaching also. Those that support tbe idea of God having two covenant people draw mainly from Rev.12: 17. The devil is making war against the offspring of tbe woman. Those who keep the commandments of God, the Jews. Those who hold to the testimony if Jesus, the church. My question. How can the Jews be the offspring of the woman?

There is a certain well known Tele evangelist who says ut is a waste of time to share Jesus with the Jews. They will be saved by tbeir relationship to tbe law. Mosaic law that us. Yet Paul clearly demonstrates that no one us justified by tbe law. It condemns us. It points ys to our need for a savior.

Yet some evangelicals are calling the Jews estranged brethren. So what does that make tbe Moslems, Buddhist, Hindus, Mormons, JW'.s , etc.

Sounds like the Fatherhood of God and brotherhood of man rubbish I heard in tbe 70's. Actually sounds like the false religion of Antichrist.

Brother I agree with you. The church is tbe apple of God's eye. Ephesians clearly shows that tbe church, consisting of both Jew and Gentile, the bride, is the object of God's affection. But to say tbis one will be accused of being anti Semitic. Oh well. Been called worse.

hi, God is going to establish the new jerusalem where i am going to rule and reign with Him.not the new new york or london.jews need Jesus and i have many friends who have come to Jesus from judahism.jews make wonderful christians becaus they have brains and understand the culture.;jimp
