| Re: | | Praying, Sis.
Please also ask for prayer through the group-mail. Sister Browny also receives those emails. She also is a prayer warrior. I wish I could get emails but Jesus is able to supply what we need for wisdom on what and how to pray. Please don't hold back in the emails to the group.
Do you have any help - such as a friend where you live?
Our GOD is Big and able to bring you through this thing and He does love you. His Word says that He'll never put us though more than we can bear and when we come through - that we will be better on the other side - stronger than we were before in His service. I know that's hard to believe right now - but with great confidence I can say that. I wish I could share more of my own experience here - but I don't feel the freedom. Maybe when I can get to my Father's computer, then I can email. I KNOW that Romans 8:28 is Truer than True - on that I will bank my life as truth - a truth that has been proven to me through more than I could ever write.
Know that He is with you and that He cares and I am just giving my impression from the words on this thread that you're going through something that is weakening your faith and the rest that is happening is not from Him but the enemy is taking advantage of your weakened faith. Hold on with all of your might to Him and read the Psalms or any other portions of Scripture that bring you a calm.
Hang on Sister! Your life is Precious to Him. |

| Re: | | JIG, thanks so much. You really help. Started writing/copying a bunch of scriptures and asking for the right mentality and attitude. Boy, this spiritual warfare thing is really a tough nut. I can laugh now, but it was really horrible for a time there. Hmmm... I'm going to copy the scriptures here. Who knows, through my fumbling experience, somebody may be helped.
Romans 8:35-39 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword? As it is written: For your sake we face death all day long; we are considered as sheep to be slaughtered. No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord
Acts 20:24 However, I consider my life worth nothing to me, if only I may finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given me--the task of testifying to the gospel of God's grace
Philippians 1:6 being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.
Hebrews 12:2 Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.
Ephesians 6:10-18 Armor of God
James 4:7 Submit yourselves, then to GOd, Resist the devil, and he will flee from you
Romans 12:12 Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer.
1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 Be joyful always;pray continually;give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus
Job 1:21 ..The LORD gave and the LORD has taken away; may the name of the LORD be praised."
Job 13:15 Though he slay me, yet will I hope in him...
ETA Horrible devil, just after I post this and he's coming back. Well, go away--the joy of the Lord is my strength--Nehemiah 8 : 10 _________________ geraldine

| Re: | | :) All Glory to The Lamb!
Your choice of Scriptures made me smile, Sister. Thank you!
I have an old notebook from many yrs back, when the enemy was hitting me hard - I wrote with a pen these same scriptures :)
You have chosen GOOD ones and I know that you'll find more and Yes, they Will help someone else.
Amen, in Christ you have the authority to say what you have - Amen, "Well, Go Away". Amen - that is your right as a child of The Most High GOD. That and your Scriptures is all that needs be said. You don't have to put up with that Liar.
No weapon formed against you shall prosper. I love Job 13:15 - Now THAT'S FAITH! :) Glory to GOD Alone!
This is what Jesus used when the devil came to torment Him -- the Scriptures and nothing more --- oh, and He said, "get behind me" ... which is what you've said, "Well, go away" :)
AMEN - THE JOY OF THE LORD 'IS' OUR STRENGTH.
You have Every Right to be Happy in The LORD. To laugh and smile and be joyful. He created things to make us laugh and says that a Merry heart makes good or well, like a medicine. He loves to see His Children Happy and Enjoying what gifts He has given us ... Just like any good parent is happy when their children are happy and enjoying themselves with the things that these good parents provide. I love simple things and childlike things to giggle at and I know He smiles with me. He made animals to do funny things. And beautiful flowers to tell us that He loves us. So many beautiful things that He created to help us to understand His Beautiful LOVE.
I had gone to bed and The LORD said, "Get up - look for learn" and still - I was surprised to see you here. He has Blessed me by your post. Glory to GOD! I'm happy by these verses and He wanted to make me happy too. Ha - He said - "Get up and look!"
Thank you for confirming His WORD! He 'is' The WORD. How BEAUTIFUL!
Bless you and all sweetness to you from our Heavenly Husband and King - Amen! :) |

Thank you. You have no idea how much this means to me about our Father's love. I've been crying and groaning in the spirit over this sentence. _________________ geraldine

| Re: | | Dear learn,
Just want to let you know I will also pray for you dear sister. Try to keep your eyes on to the Lord & stay into His Word. Keep His Wonderful and Blessed Word close to your heart, let it be in your heart and let your thinking be filled by the Word.
I know by experience where you are talking about sister, things you are going through right now. I take my Bible and holding it to my heart as a proclamation to the unseen world around us. Somehow this is giving me comfort.
May the Fathers peace come to rule in your heart and mind again. The Lord loves you and so do we here.
browny.

| Re: | | In my best Englisch I will try to write you.....
I believe the ones that are seeking the Lord for you dear sister will be lead by the Holy Spirit. He is able to even wake us up in the middle of the night to pray whenever you are in need of prayer. As sisters and brothers we do need to intercede at any time, at any place, with all our strenght faith and love. Dear sister, I cannot start to tell you all I the things I have been going true and I am even in the middle of a very painful proces at this time. Only when I look back, over the years, I can see the Lord always was there, even in my darkest moments. In civil war situations on the missionfield, in a few almost dead experiences and in some severe attemps of trials by the enemy when he was trying to break my spirit. Jesus was there right at my side when a group of mad man ponted there guns ate me, and when an other man tried to kill me, situations I hardly can talk about. Jesus was there in the middle with me, He was in the centre of all this evil, He was able to reach my heart with peace and strenght and hope. And now when arrows of pain are coming my way, I find shelter under His wings, running to my strong tower, calling out the Name of Jesus, sometimes having no words, only the strenght to mention, to wisper or calling out His name.JESUS.. The Name above ALL names, above ALLfear, ALL pain, ALL hopelessness, loosing ALL health, loosing ALL friends, His Name is standing above ALL circumstances.
I am thankfull for what you did you share, and by this giving me a (and others)a blessed chance to bring you before the throne of Grace.
You are and will always be, a beloved daughter of the Father. I pray you will be one day looking back saying; Yes, He was there all the time, and you are able to smile even with tears in your eyes.
Bless you, browny.

| Re: | | Good thread link you posted, learn.
I'm convinced from those that I've met over the last 30 something yrs that GOD has allowed some to go through extra-ordinary circumstances - sort of like as a "Boot Camp" to be there for those that will go through the 'wearing down of the Saints' that will come Later ... in Fact - I Know this is truth - as The LORD had spoken this to me in 1996 without a question of a doubt. The one-size-fits-all answers went out the window with that and many have and that are on the tail end of unexplainable events in their lives -- are now able to see through the veil to what is tormenting others and with clarity and not by looking at some list of #'s 1 though 5 [or whatever #] to pigeon-hole everyone with problems right now into one of their self-made lists of why this is happening to another.
These that are being tried now through the fires - will be there with compassion and prayers of 'understanding' for those that will be [or are being] tried during the prophesied days ahead. Those that have or are experiencing weakness and attacks now Will be the 'experienced' ones when the time comes and GOD uses them and their eyes are placed on helping and keeping others standing strong unto the end.
"Shalom" is right, Sis Browny - as Shalom is beyond human 'feelings'.
In our weakness HE'S Made Strong! Amen! :)

| Re: | | Have you ever been pulled under by an undertow in the ocean? I have [and feel I hit a small one this week as well and have again been pulled out - Praise The LORD for "Truth".] I was in water barely to my waist, was suddenly pulled under and in a fetal position, was spun around and around, not knowing which way was up so I was incapable of shooting myself out of it. With each spin, my head would hit the bottom of the sea floor but I was spinning so fast that it didn't give me time to know "which way was up". I finally got a Great calm and said, "Here I go to see Him", and as soon as I said that, 'someone' grabbed me under the arms and I shot straight up out of the water and looked around to Thank the person who pulled me out, but there was no one around me. Haaa - What a GOD we serve. He sent an Angel but not until I gave up and had that wonderful peace that I would be going Home. Glory to our Great & Marvelous Creator GOD.
I feel still that we need to put legs to our understanding of what "strength" is - in that it's not of us at all. Pardon me if I repost the Scriptures that prevail in my mind this week, because I believe the enemy has blinded us to what this man ACTUALLY Went Through - and Browny's testimony is just keeping these verses alive in me still. That is quite the testimony Sister and I'm so grateful to GOD that you opened it up to us. Amazing Grace - and still at work until we See Him!!!
We seem to forget that Paul was just a little human being and I've yet to see anyone take each seperate part of what he went through - dissecting each event and truly regarding it - as if Paul was super-human, unlike any of us - this section is disregarded and read through far to rapidly to grasp the magnitude of what is being said.
Behold the 'human being' -
2Co 11:23-31 Are they ministers of Christ? (I speak as a fool) I am more; in labours more abundant, in stripes above measure, in prisons more frequent, in deaths oft. Of the Jews five times received I forty stripes save one. Thrice was I beaten with rods, once was I stoned, thrice I suffered shipwreck, a night and a day I have been in the deep; in journeyings often, in perils of waters, in perils of robbers, in perils by mine own countrymen, in perils by the heathen, in perils in the city, in perils in the wilderness, in perils in the sea, in perils among false brethren; in weariness and painfulness, in watchings often, in hunger and thirst, in fastings often, in cold and nakedness. Beside those things that are without, that which cometh upon me daily, the care of all the churches. Who is weak, and I am not weak? who is offended, and I burn/grieve not? If I must needs glory, I will glory of the things which concern mine infirmities. The God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which is blessed for evermore, knoweth that I lie not.
[2Cor 12:1-8] ...
2Co 12:9,10 And He said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for My strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the Power of Christ may rest upon me. Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ's sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong.
2Cor 10:1 Now I Paul myself beseech you by the meekness and gentleness of Christ, who in presence am base among you, but being absent am bold toward you
2Cor 10:10 For his letters, say they, are weighty and powerful; but his bodily presence is weak, and his speech contemptible.
Paul was a Power-house in spirit but in his humanity/his flesh - he was a mess.
This was so that ALL of the GLORY would go to GOD in Christ.
It's not of us - but of Him. At least that's the way we need to see this all and all that comes at us and how He uses the weak or foolish things to accomplish His end - "To HIS GLORY".
He chooses the weak things to confound the strong. etc. |
