I wonder how the church in the first three centuries would view the postition of Christianity now. Back then it was an underground movement who had no rights, no public face except the arena and no public voice on any issue. Post Chrsitian societies is what we have now. As in the days of the Joshua and the Judges a generation has risen up who have not seen Egypt nor taken any land, they just inherited it, and it means nothing to them.

We tend to believe that the early church was entirely underground... and to a large extent it was. But the book of Acts seems to indicate that portions of it wasnt by saying they had favor among all the people.Just thought I would point that out.Krispy
