 Re: Observations

This calamitous hour in the affairs of men demands a church healthier than the one we have. This blatant manifestation of evil in the youth and in the violation of God’s commandments throughout the world calls for a faith that will not shrink.

 Re: Observations

Can you imagine the Apostle Paul daring to step into Rome, this city of hatred and violence with any less comprehension of the power of the Cross than he had?
Our gimmick-geared gospel would have fallen as flat in that day as in our day. Can you imagine Paul and his party confronting this pagan, wicked hoard with hip-swinging girls and hand-clapping boys singing, “Something Good is Going to Happen to you,” or offering them a Prosperity Pack for a donation?

 Re: Observations

The man who can get believers to praying would, under God, usher in the greatest revival that the world has ever known.

My main ambition in life is to be on the Devil’s most wanted list.

 Re: Observations

Testimonies are wonderful. But, so often our lives don’t fit our testimonies.

 Re: Observations

Today’s Church wants to be raptured from responsibility.

I don’t think you have to die a martyr’s death to be a martyr.
You can be a living sacrifice, you can die to advantages, you can die to temptations, you can die to privileges, you can die to all those things that don’t add to spiritual life, that don’t add to spiritual vision, that don’t add to spiritual understanding.
L. R.

At God's counter there are no "SALE DAYS," for the price of revival is ever the same - TRAVAIL.

 Re: Observations

The true man of God is heartsick, grieved at the worldliness of the Church. . . grieved at the toleration of sin in the Church, grieved at the prayerlessness in the Church.
He is disturbed that the corporate prayer of the Church no longer pulls down the strongholds of the devil.
Leonard Ravenhill

 Re: Observations

Here's a sad fact.Unless the minister of a local church is on fire---hint, hint---people pray revival into your pastors hearts or ask God to remove him----then they will not allow an on fire Evangelist to come. That's a fact. When a preacher comes with fire and a quickening of the Holy Spirit that's often a threat to a pastor.Just something to think about.
