It is a sad demise in Christianity that we are witnessing.

We should rather be witnessing for Jesus, not against Him.

As for prison, it should be expected, even if it is unwelcomed. Who wants to go?

Even if the Bible was written by murderers, jail birds, adulterers, polygamist, naked prophets, crying prophets, you know what, we would be in great company!

But prison has its own price, are we willing to pay it if necessary?

Hagee must be wanting more money. In Matt. 4: the invitation to Jesus to bow down and worship him, and he would give Jesus the kingdoms of this world. This is a big issue in this time. especially when most preach about prosperity and at the same time call Jesus a sinner who had to be born again. Hagee is selling 1,000s of his book Jesus is not the Messiah. Messiah is Hebrew and Christ is Greek and it means anointed. Jesus received his anointing when he was baptised by John and the Holy Spirit descended upon him. also the father said from heaven this is my beloved son in whom I am well pleased. If he was a sinner he wouldn't be pleased. truly the love of money is the root of all evil. pray for Hagee that he will repent. If all ministers were to sow love they would reap more love from God and not have to use gimmicks to get money.

No... I really dont think money is the issue here. I think whats going on is Hagee truly wants to keep a certain party, and certain policies, and certain ideoogies out of the White House. Well, guess what... so do I.

The difference between Hagee and I is that he is willing to abandon what he believes in order to acheive that. I'm not.

And when Hagee, or anyone else, compromises truth for expediency what they are revealing is their lack of faith in God. When we stand for truth, God works. When we compromise His truth the results are never good.

Many a high profile pastor has sold his soul in the name of politics. Even Billy Graham came pretty close to getting burned during the Watergate episode back in the early 70's w/ Nixon. Now, Billy did nothing wrong, but being as close as he was to President Nixon almost tainted his reputation. When it first hit the media he began to defend Nixon until it became obvious that Nixon lied... he was, in fact, a crook! Billy has always met with Presidents, but never again did he allow himself to be so closely associated with one.

Hagee... he seems ready to apologize to anyone and everyone for everything he's ever preached in order to see McCain elected. I'm an ultra-conservative... I dont like any of our candidates, least of all the ones Hagee wants to keep out. But I refuse to deny the truth and bow down to the world in order to acheive the goal of winning an election. No way... I trust God. I'll stick with Him.

Krispy: I am sorry to say that these actions by Hagee do not surprise me. The problem is that the fellow is so high profile, and that as an orator, he is as powerful as you can get, and funny! He also, now and then, mixes his political persuasions with a fiery Gospel message honoring Jesus' sacrifice, the Blood and resurrection, that is wonderful to behold.

He has a doctrine, it seems, that [b]unsaved and unregenerate[/b] Jews are indeed a part of Heaven's company, and receives them as brethren publicly, and honors them with great respect and financial gifts. This is a sin against them and the gospel, for they are comforted in there wickedness, and the truth of their coming perdition for rejecting their Messiah. He influences possibly millions also, that become warped, likewise.

He is so adamant about pre-tribulation rapture, that he preaches that the American economy will only fall, as the Christians disappear instantly in this secret affair.[no arguments please on this one] This seems to be associated with his ideas that no suffering will ever come to "Christian" America. He does not teach preparation in Faith, for the end times, for in his thinking, there is no need too.

A logical end to this thinking, would be that the END would justify the means. He has taught about the wickedness of Papal Rome as an equivocalness to Satan himself all of his ministry. In his mind, though, the expediency here hasn't to do with truth as much as his faith in the RNC, as opposed to evil in the RCC.[republican national convention RNC] [roman catholic church RCC].

The morality, economic conservatism, and allegiance to Israel in McCain and the RNC, as opposed to the Socialists anti Israel politics of the far LEFT, have overwhelmed the man. He's lost it, but he doesn't care. All for America and Israel! That's his gospel formed from his own form of "Christian" Nationalism that trumps his former ideas about the gospel of Jesus Christ.
