A Source of Joy that Can Not Be Overcome by Carter Conlon

Topic: Joy
Scripture(s): Psalm 5:11-12
Description: July 30, 2006 – We are living in a time when superficial joy will dissipate. Christians who have a wrong focus on Jesus will never experience true joy. God has a prescribed order in the way we should seek Him and serve Him. Our seeking God has to be divinely lead and divinely influenced. When we begin to abide in Christ our lives will be put in divine order. The joy comes when we find the abiding life of Christ flowing in us and through us.

A Stick and a One Line Sermon by Carter Conlon

Topic: Failure
Scripture(s): 1 Corinthians 1:26-31
Description: April 22, 2007 - This message is for those who see their calling and tried but it seemed to be of no avail. Failure and misunderstanding of God's ways has lead you into the wilderness. For those of you who feel like a dry stick and have no strength, God is about to do something marvelous. The question is DO YOU SEE YOUR CALLING? Do you see that God has put the power of the resurrected Savior in the hand of the weakest of those who are called by Christ. We do not need any strength of our own, or any plan of our own, we need an obedient heart that will trust God for the power to work in and through us.

A Warning to an Evil Generation by Carter Conlon

Topic: Last Days Deception
Scripture(s): Matthew 12:38-42
Description: (preached: July 20, 2003) A powerful warning about last days deception in the Church. This is a strong rebuke of the signs and manifestations movement and of the preaching of a soft gospel. The hour is late, don't be caught looking for Him in the wrong places.

A Word For Those Who Feel Like Quitting by Carter Conlon

Topic: Giving Up
Scripture(s): 2 Corinthians 1:8-11
Description: October 3, 2010 - You might say you started your walk with the Lord with such optimism and all of a sudden you are fighting wars within and wars without. You know the battle is fierce and in and of yourself you have no power to get through your situation. The enemy will roar in your ear with the lie that your circumstance is greater than your God. This message encourages us that if Christ is in us we will never be overpowered by the voice or strategy of the devil. God will take you through before He takes you out. He will give you supernatural strength and your testimony will be Jesus took me through. Never give up because God is on your side!

A Word for those Who Want to Know God by Carter Conlon

Topic: Knowing God
Scripture(s): Daniel 11:32
Description: March 19, 2006 – We are called to be a partaker in full measure of a victory that has already been conquered for us. Those who see the end from the beginning because of their deep desire to be separated from the world to glorify God will have their eyes opened to the power of God. They will become intimately acquainted with God and in this intimacy draw the strength that they need to slay every giant we face. The people that know their God shall be strong and do exploits.

Agreeing To Tempt The Spirit Of The Lord by Carter Conlon

Topic: Tempting God
Scripture(s): Acts 5:1-11, 2 Timothy 3:16, Acts 4:30-33
Description: September 2, 2007 - What is the lesson we can learn from Ananias and Saphira? How could they think they could get the Holy Spirit to be a partaker of their lie? The enemy will bring a deception into our heart that says we can live in sin and hypocrisy because God does not mean what He says. We will stand before a Holy God and everything that is dark will be brought into the light of Christ. Jesus Christ has made every provision for us to live a life of purity. God wants to bury our sin and old nature so that we may live in the fear of God. We can choose to bury our sins today or our sins will bury us tomorrow. It time to get real with God!

 Almost Persuaded by Carter Conlon

Topic: King Agrippa
Scripture(s): Acts 26
Description: Beginning in Acts 26, where Paul is testifying before Festus and King Agrippa, about his conversion on the road to Damascus, Pastor Conlon contrasts the difference between the testimony meeting that will take place in hell, of those who knew, and disregarded the gospel, to the testimony meeting in heaven of those who believed and obeyed. A sobering, but stirring message that will toward the end stir every Christian to want to go home NOW. A good message for both lost and saved.

An Open Door by Carter Conlon

Topic: Hope
Scripture(s): Revelation 3:7-13
Description: January 17, 2010 - God opens a door that no man can shut and closes a door that no man can open. God will open up a door and if we choose to walk through it He will shut the door to our past and all of our enemies. Nobody can catch us from behind when God opens up a door before us. God is speaking to those who believe in Him but are struggling with a besetting sin and have little strength. He sets before you and open door and if you walk through it you will experience the supernatural strength of God. Don't let any contrary argument or any demonic power of hell keep you from getting up and walking through this door. On the other side you will find Jesus Christ and all His power and provision!
