Audio Sermons : David Wilkerson :  Hell, What Is It Like?

Hell, What Is It Like? by David Wilkerson

Topic: Hell
Scripture(s): Matthew 11:23, 2 Peter 2:17, 2 Thessalonians 1:9
Description: This is a very sobering message on the reality of hell. Barely any preachers these days would even dare to preach on this subject but how sad that falls from the new testament normal of hell as a normal doctrine taught and discussed. Jesus spoke of hell more then heaven, listen carefully and know that there is a eternal hell.

 Hell, What Is It Like?
This message is a very vivid and powerful description of the nature of hell. David describes the physical sufferings of the sensation of burning for eternity. He also delves into the mental sufferings due to the conscience replaying every lost opportunity that the sinner had to receive Christ while alive. There is also a description of the spiritual sufferings of the sense of drifting further and further from God for eternity. David speaks of the sad truth that most of mankind will be going to hell and that most church parishioners are also going to hell because they are not truly saved and are not really following Jesus with their lives. This message is a very powerful and shocking wake up call to anyone who has not yet made a true decision to follow Christ. It’s also a powerful reminder of how much we must labor to help as many people as possible to be saved and avoid a dreadful eternity in hell.

 Hell, What is it Like?
Wow, this sermon gives a piercing definition of what Hell is like and what goes on!

dont fear because of a hell
preachers dont talk about hell because they are teachers trying to teach you how to stay out of hell. they focus on how to make you a better person not to talk about what happens if you stray away. Just be a good person and always do good towards others and you wont have to worry about the rage of god.

 Scary but excellent
Very Scary, very insightful and detailed as most preachers today as has been pointed out either don't mention hell at all or only touch on the subject ( which is better than nothing ) but it is rare to listen to a sermon devoted to this topic only briefly describing hell e.g. as a lost eternity it is accurate of course but it is an incomplete description of this very real and very terrible place where there is so much pain, suffering and infinitum

 Thank God
What a powerful and true messege necessary for today's totally secular mind. Especially powerful against the secular mindset which creates their own god and is creeping through the church in America and leading millions straight to hell for eternity by teaching it doesn't even exist as according to the truth of the Word.(Like Oprah's church and the many mega church pastors on T.V.) We hear so many people who claim to be Christians teach there is no hell... It is ultimate spiritual blindness and a definate spiritual warfare of our time. I praise God for this sermon and for every ear that hears it to be raised to the challenge to repeat it's truth to others along with the hope we have in the grace offered through our dear Lord Jesus. My own mother burst into my room and demanded I tell her, to quote, "Just what exactly do you think you are teaching my grandchildren?!?" She exclaimed this when she inadvertantly heard this sermon playing in my room when she walked by...I praise God f

Its True hell exists, but what about what happens in revelation 20:14? "And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death." King james version. Hell isn't where sinners are punished but in fact, the lake of fire, as told of in revelation, is. Hell is where the devil and the darkness resides, but not the sinners who did not return to god. The dead will be risen and judged, those who do not have their name written in the book of life will be thrown into the lake of fire. Romans 6:23 says " For wages of sin is death , but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord." Notice it says death, not eternal damnation. Plus when you think about how it says god will punish those eternally, don't you think death is eternal ? There's no coming back from it afterall. Just thought i'd comment on it.

How can we stay luke warm after listening to something like that, I cried for my children that aren't walking with the Lord. God has been stirring my heart up about what He wants me to be doing, I am believing that God is doing a new thing on the earth, He seems to be stirring people up.

 Awesome teaching
Today preachers really do not give a lot of focus to Hell. There is a great deception of the grace of God... of course God is gracious, but a day of judgment is coming. OH this is a blessed teaching.

Hell, What Is It Like? By David Wilkerson
I really liked this teaching on Hell. I've learned a lot from it. I have the audio; my best friend added to my portable device while adding some Paul Washer sermons. You'd be surprised to know that I'm only 15 years old. Thank you Mr.Wilkerson.

If you don't want to make converts but Disciples you must listen to this message. Often times at crusades and in street witnessing we do not express the severity of God (Romans 11:22). We often here about his Goodness but not his wrath and Righteous Judgement and we need to hear both. Please listen to this message it will bless you and help you understand the Fear of the lord (Proverbs 8:13) (Exodus 20:20)

 a call to the harvest
Weap for the the lost because hell is as real the blood that saves. Preach the gospel at all cost.Because of the cost he paid for all the world.

 Serious Teaching
Every time I hear this teaching on fall on my face.

This is a wake-up call to the reality of hell. Rev. Wilkerson brings the horror of eternal hell before your eyes. The basis for the horros he describes comes directly from the Holy Bible. This message is no joke; you will be left feeling disturbed in your spirit...and cling to the cross even harder. You'll never forget this warning.
