Beginning/ending good, middle questionable

Dr. Tozer's text for this sermon is Psalm 46. He gives a good exposition of verse 1, talking about the difference between God being our refuge and our strength. Then he starts to talk about the end times and how current (1950-early 60's) worries about Russia and nuclear war cannot pan out given some of the conditions mentioned in the book of Revelation. For example, it says that people from every tribe, tongue and nation will be there before Him, so obviously the entire human race can't have been wiped out by a nuclear explosion. ****But mixed in with this is Tozer's reference, and I think it is his greatest weakness as a preacher, to the evils of inter-racial marriage--and he even refers to integration as being somehow not quite right. I find he refers to this theme occasionally, and it's flat wrong. I think it should be edited out of the message altogether. Jim Hitt, La Mirada, California.****
