Summary of the various points

In this sermon Paris Reidhead speaks of many different things but his main emphasis is on how the fear of God is needed first before we ever talk about salvation. He also says that the three things every person needs before coming to Christ are an example of grace, an intercessor and an evangelist. These can be three different people or wrapped up into one. He also says that before salvation people need to be awakened and convicted of pride. He would love to declare a moratorium on public preaching of salvation for 12 months in America and make every minister teach on the need to be saved. He speaks of his own journey through easy believism and then the baptism of the Holy Spirit in 1953 and how he received several gifts of the Spirit. He at least honours fundamentalists for obeying the word even though he says they went out without power. He admits that Charismatic churches do need a fear of God.
