Audio Sermons : Art Katz :  The God who Devastates

The God who Devastates by Art Katz

Topic: Devastation
Scripture(s): Proverbs 1:7
Description: Art Katz speaks prophetically using the holocaust and the sufferings of Job applying it to the Church and the need of repentance. If Divine reality is to come into the church in its present unreal condition, then we need to expect devastations in our midst of the deepest and challenging kind. The text is from the suffering of Job.

Never before did a man speak like this
Brother Art had nothing short of a prophetic way of devastating his audiences with a true knowledge of God. This "sermon" is no exception. Amazing insights are gained from reflections upon the holocaust and the book of Job.

A Powerful message necessary for us to hear in our Church age. I pray God can restore and revive in me His proper fear. May I know God as He ought to be known. Suffering, Trials, Afflictions Lord teach me through these. This message has dealt with my heart and may it deal with great issues in my heart that need this devastation to bring me back to the Knowing of God that changes everything in my life. May I be "Alive in God" and aware to the "Eternal" realities in this time.

Art refers to this message many times throughout his career, so I always wanted to hear it. This an example of how God used him "flay the ox," in this case it was of a long time friend and his fellowship. At the beginning of the message Art is introduced as a prophet by the head pastor after which Art states that he is so jealous for the word of God and truth that he is willing that the relationship be broken but that the Word should go forth. This message will arrest you and cause you to consider, perhaps for the first time, the greatness and severity of God Almighty. May you be blessed by the hearing of the Word.
