Description: "We stand in great danger of being satisfied." Denny Kenaston's heart was burdened to have real revival and to motivate further prayer for it. He warned against dead orthodoxy (correct doctrine without life) and even enjoying God's blessings so as to not pursue God's best. The inspiration for the address came from Duncan Campbell's "When God Stepped Down", an accounting of the amazing Hebrides revival around 1952.
Powerful exhoration by brother Denny on revival and the hebrides move of God specifically. He bares his heart and burden to the church to pray and earnestly desire for revival. Oh how we need the glory of God over us.
Good follow-on to Campbell's revival account
This is a great followup of Duncan Campbell's sermon "When God Stepped Down." Kenaston draws a lot of examples and exhortation from it in his typical passionate appeal to conscience. It stands as a warning of that spiritual maxim: "The good is the enemy of the best."
