Love your neighbour | | The word love has its roots in the Old English word, "lufu," which is a word that means that you work together. This is not an emotional word but much more a word of commitment. Our purpose needs to be united with God's purpose. God's purpose is that we experience all the best that He has to give. To love our neighbour as ourself is to want our neighbour to experience the best as well. On two commandments hang all the law and the prophets. It's to love God with everything and love man as ourselves. We are not born again until we have an acute sense of our obligation to other men based on our love for God. Paris emphasizes that we need to be ocncerned about the whole man when we minister. Cry of many missionaries is "Christianity no, Christ yes."
