Carter starts out with Proverbs 27:6 where it says that the wounds of a friend are faithful then goes to Psalm 54 where David prays about an unfaithful friend that goes with him to the house of the Lord. He then goes to Genesis 16 and speaks about Hagar. This is a message to those who have not been healed by wounds of someone they trusted and have made up their minds never to be vulnerable to anyone again. Carter finishes by useing Isaiah 54 to speak about God’s wooing and promise to the person who has been hurt.
