the Christian legacy | | This book is inspiring and a sobering reminder of the great heritage we have been born into. Our predecessors suffered with dignity, courage and faith. Can we offer any less? My favorite line in the book was that "there was a broad road of distinction between the believers and the world".
| Wow | | I listened to this whole audio book yesterday, and I already want to listen to it again. Though it seems that this was a work of fiction, it was completely believable as it accurately portrays life for believers during the heavy Roman persecutions. The story is both convicting and inspiring. I love how at one point the narrator of the story points out that for the early believers, there was no such thing as theoretical Christianity. It was all or bust. |
