| | Jesus is looking for our return to him | | | The topic here is really needed in America now in these times. I have been personnaly going through some times of feeling distant from God, while at the same time I have been busy for years witnessing for Him. He said that we must return to our first love, and he is right on the money. I have been decieived into thinking that knowledge is being spiritual, and that isn't always true. It is an easy deception to get into. Pray that I recieve a pure mind from Jesus. I know that I need that, and I need to focus on Him not on knowledge about him so much.
| | God wants to revive me and you | | | Thank you Greg for posting this sermon here. I also got an insight into why David was called a many after God's own heart. He truly took Deut 17:19, 20 to heart, so that he could say that, "Your word o lord have I hidden in my heart that I might not sin against You." This is also a word for today where we are a body and yet our roles might be different. And sin is indeed falling short of the glory of God. Falling short of walking in the fulness of all the riches that is in Christ. God wants to help me to be in such a burning devotion for HIM and keep me there. He wants it more than I do. I want to take this seriously and be a testimony, that though these words seem weak to me, God is able to bring it to pass. I have called on the name of Jesus and He will save me from this sub stadard life ... because He has said so. Amen
| | Convicting.. | | | Oh! how we all need a personal renewal and revival. My heart grows so dim and hard at times. May we listen to this message over and over again until we come to a place of true desperation and a convincing of our minds of the great need of a personal revival.
