 Heart of worship
Wiersbe does a great job at reminding us what is important with God. The attitude of a heart wholly devoted to God is immeasurably important. Half-hearted obedience is still disbodience, and that is evidenced in Jonah's life. I believe Wiersbe does an excellent job in stating that Ch. 4, Verse 12 is for us to write...we need to finish our own life stories by not only surrendering our body, our mind, and our will, but our heart as well. So many people's lives depend on God's use of our faithfulness to reach out!

Where is your heart when you serve?
Interesting, sometimes humorous presentation of Jonah's case, but very profound and touching. Jonah's character and ministry looked at though his credentials, through the eyes of the men on the ship, through the eyes of the fish and the worm (!), and, more important, through the eyes of God. In chapter 1, God had Jonah's mind, who understood God's will; in chapter 3, God has Jonah's will. But He must have also Jonah's heart! Great lesson for all of us!

interesting and thought-provoking!
