Dr. Stott laments people in the church not being properly converted. Later he talks about the necessity of having Christ's assurance besides us.It is the Holy Spirit that gives us assurance of our salvation and teaches us, empowers us to be Christ like and be Christ's witness on earth. Lord Jesus can use imperfect vessels but not ignorant ones. Church of the Living God has ceased to be pillar and foundation of the truth. Reformed movement that began with: "Just shall live by faith" has degenerated into "Just shall live by faith Alone". We are delivered from the power of darkness and brought into the Kingdom of God so that me may live a righteous life, please God with all good works. We must ask the LORD JESUS CHRIST to fill us with His Holy Spirit. The task of evangelism is too glorious to be left in our hands.
