Ed Miller makes some great points I had not considered, the main one being how Elisha is that one person in the Old Testament who most looks like Jesus overall (Paul was that person in the New Testament). That, and other aspects about Elisha's life, have really perked my interest to listen to this whole series. "God's call to Elisha is God's call to every Christian." Also, he generally starts each session with the "indispensible principle" of Bible study--a reliance on the Holy Spirit. He brought out an especially striking one I thought from Matthew 11, "Come unto Me all you who labor and are heavy laden."
