| | And They Crucified Him by Art Katz
Topic: Cross Of Christ | | Description: Empty entertainment/worship sung by pretty people -Doctrinally-correct sermons devoid of power -Sunday-only Christian lives barely distiguishable from the world All these and many more ills are symptoms of a disease Art clearly identifies in this message. It's such a fundamental thing, our understanding of the cross. It's an indictment of our lives and the current impetence of the church. In the final analysis, unless we know Christ and Him crucified, our knowledge of God will be false.

| | How To Embrace The Power Of The Cross by Carter Conlon
Topic: Cross Of Christ Scripture(s): 1 Corinthians 1:17-31 | | Description: January 3, 2010 - The Cross is a way to supernatural strength and power. Through the Cross, the life of God is lived through us in the person of the Holy Spirit. The Cross is the power of God in Christ to overpower all the forces of darkness. Because of the Cross the impossible becomes possible. So how do we embrace the power of the Cross? The answer is simple. You can stare at the Cross in unbelief or you can put out your hand by faith and take the victory. We cannot have sin in our life and have the power of the Cross. You have to choose to walk out of sin and walk into the power of God!

| | Christus Victor! by Art Katz
Topic: Cross Of Christ Scripture(s): Acts 19:15 | | Description: Jesus came to destroy the works of the Devil, and it was what was demonstrated at the Cross that is His triumph over the whole demonic realm. The early church had this perspective, and it needs to be ours at the end, for surely that same demonstration will be required. We need to see the spiritual realm as the apostles and Jesus saw it. The reality of the spiritual realm is the same as it was 2000 years ago.

| | The Fourth Tabernacle by David Wilkerson
Topic: Cross Of Christ Scripture(s): Exodus 25:8 | | Description: This message is about the ultimate purpose of the cross of Jesus Christ. At the Cross Jesus Christ raised up the fourth tabernacle. The Cross is more than being forgiven, more than being granted eternal life and more than receiving healing for our body soul and spirit. We are the fourth tabernacle that Jesus raised up with Himself that God wants to dwell in us and live with us seated at the right hand of God. When He said it is finished, the joy that was set before Him is the omnipresence of Christ dwelling in man.

| | Jesus´ victory over the powers of darkness by Erlo Stegen
Topic: Cross of Christ Scripture(s): Acts 16:16-39 | | Description: Paul was angered by the demonic spirit of divination which shouted out of the girl "these men are servants of the Most High, who are proclaiming to you the way of salvation". Even though this was true Paul did not need demons to shout it out. He commanded the spirit to leave the girl. The power of Jesus was displayed when the demons left. Her masters, who had profited much, were furious, and had Paul and Silas stripped and beaten. But this did not beat God's servants for Jesus is victorious over demonic power. They sang the praises of God in the cruel jail and stocks, till heaven could not remain silent and the earth shook with God's power.

| | Knowing The Cross of Christ by Alan Martin
Topic: Cross Of Christ Scripture(s): Romans 6 | | Description: Alan Martin shares on the death and resurrection of Christ and what that implies for every believer. We are called to "know" what truly the death of Christ means to us as believers. He preaches on the full truth of what the death of Christ speaks to us today. Many pulpits are preaching half truths that there is just a covering for sin and not a doing away of sin and victory over sin.

| | The Preaching of the Cross by Carter Conlon
Topic: Cross Of Christ Scripture(s): 1 Corinthians 1:18-25 | | Description: March 9, 2008 - Redemption is not something to make us feel good. We are called to walk with Christ and share in His compassion for the lost. People cannot embrace the fullness of the Cross because they are not attracted to the selfless life it leads us into. The evidence that we embraced the Cross will be a life fully surrendered to the agenda of Jesus for humanity. We are called to take up our cross and allow our lives to be poured out for others.

| | The Table and the Cross by Carter Conlon
Topic: Cross Of Christ Scripture(s): Psalm 23:5 | | Description: March 1, 2009 - Our fallen nature can cause us to form an image of ourselves that doesn't represent Christ. The church that forms a false image will not endure when hard times come and they will abandon the journey of Christ to follow their own agenda. God in His mercy will allow this false image to be broken in pieces so we can go back to God and do things His way. When we are left with an empty shell and a cry in our heart that says, "God I am nothing apart from you", God will respond by filling us with His glory. If ever there is a time to cry out for the Holy Spirit to fill us it's now!
